The non-renewal was mentioned a while ago, but still. This is the kind of thing I'd do when I'm pissed up at the weekend. Yeah, fuck it. Just stick it on the credit card and worry about it later.
Manchester United shirt sponsor TeamViewer wants to review PS235m deal - Manchester Evening News
In 2021, TeamViewer and United agreed a £235m deal to sponsor the shirts of the club until 2026, but in August the firm said that it would not renew the deal. But the German tech company, which specialises in remote access and remote control computer software, are now seeking to change their deal after a scathing letter from three per cent investors, Petrus Advisers.
They wrote: "As active investors we will not tolerate that you spend ca. 1.4x your net profit or over 70 million euros per year on sponsorship contracts with Manchester United and Mercedes Formula 1. You are not SAP, Oracle or Mercedes."
Re-negotiating the deal will be a pressing concern for TeamViewer. Currently, the deal is worth £47m per year to United, yet the German company's profits are reportedly only £43.5m.
Good luck running that excuse past the Glazers.
They might as well put 'dunno who they are, can't be bothered finding out' instead of 'teamviewer'.
In contrast, the boilerman marches on!
Ronaldo is fired/gone.
According to Man U website
To be updated
Ronno gone with immediate effect.
Mutual agreement from God-player and God-club.
Hopefully the next move for him doesn't end up being too embarrassing.
As the Liverpool fans applauded on the 7th minute, he deserves, and hopefully will accept, to go out with dignity.
No one is bigger than the club. Fuck the diving, winking old spick rapist
Had a good think and It won't be that noticeable inking Garnacho over his name on the back of my top.
Will he be tempted by Madchester's top team, following the example of Law?
End to Denis Law's Manchester United career spoiled his pint in Aberdeen
Finally!
Manchester United owners to explore sale as Glazers seek new investment | Business News | Sky News
Manchester United Football Club could finally be sold by its American owners after a 17-year reign dominated by fan protests and declining on-pitch performance.
Sky News can exclusively reveal that the Glazer family is preparing to formally announce its intention to examine potential sources of outside investment that could include a full-blown auction of arguably the world's most famous football club.
Possible light at the end of the tunnel.
Fake news and a glimmer of hope for reds.
There's so much more money that can be taken out of the club by those ruthless fookers, long may it continue
Sky give everyone but Moaners fans a fucking good laugh.
Manchester United: How 'scavenger' Glazers bought club - and left Old Trafford 'rusting' and in a 'mess'
“Nah, let’s not redevelop the stadium.
Let’s pay a 37 year old player half a million quid a week for two years instead”.
~Another sound business decision by the plug ugly brothers.
I bet Sheikh Mohammed of Dubai will be sniffing around.
The ruler of Dubai owning United and the ruler of Abu Dhabi owning City will be just how he sees Dubai and AD compared to each other.
'That's the nature of progress, isn' t it. It always goes on longer than it's needed'. - JCC
I was saying the same thing to my Spurs and Villa mates last night when they asked me if I was happy.
Of course I am, but they're talking about selling us for 5 to 9 billion.
Who can afford that?
This could be a classic case of out of the frying pan and into the fire with owners as repulsive as the plastics and the barcodes.
Damn Facts and Statistics
– Despite all the refinancings, United’s £592million gross debt is virtually unchanged since the Glazers’ arrival – it was £604million back in 2006.
– United are the only Premier League club that pays dividends to its shareholders, with the majority of that money going to the six Glazer family members who hold shares in the club.
– Since 2016, United have paid £166million to their shareholders, averaging £22million a year.
– United have also paid £743million in interest since the Glazers’ leveraged buy-out in 2005.

Any link between Liverpool & Man U being up for sale and the collapse of tbe European Super League, then?
I think there just might be.
So Cy has read Ronay's article too...
Old Trafford: the gleaming jewel in the crown that is Manchester United. A destination venue with a wow factor that teems heritage, culture, modernity, warmth, light and vision. The ground revamped and overhauled or even downsized for the club’s vaunted youth teams to finally have a permanent home while a fresh 110,000-capacity stadium – perhaps named New Old Trafford – is built for the successors of Billy Meredith, George Best, Roy Keane and Wayne Rooney to grace. All of this part of a Manchester United HQ that develops the vast plot of land owned at M16 0RA.

Do you think that pathetic little plastic club at the Emptyhad would ever have the same written about them?
