    Quite an oversight.
You've got Chitty and a couple of vindictive Guardian journos on your side.

They were red flags right away which, as a clearly intelligent man, I thought you might have been wise to.

    Unfortunately not.

As Ronaldo saves us yet again while scoring his 800th goal, I think you should probably let this one slide and put it down to bad judgement.
Just slope off and hope that nobody notices would be my advice, Cy.

I'm so fucking happy today. Amazing what not being twatted by one of your rivals does for your day!

I fucking love you Manchester United! I fucking love you!

Now please stop making almost every weekend miserable for me.

Oh how the mighty have fallen, yes maybe, but I don't care. A win! At last!

Is 11.30am too early to start on the beer, Chits? Apologies for calling you a mong last night...but you are !

Fuck off City! Fuck off City! Fuck off City!

Rangkick press conference. Although welcome, it looks like things are gonna be a bit less interesting from now on....

It’s obvious the squad has talent and experience,” he said. “The challenge is to bring more balance into the team. Even yesterday we needed three goals to win the game. It’s almost two goals on average conceded per game and this is too much.
“Yesterday’s game was exciting for the fans but as the coach they are not the games you need every day. For me it is to minimise the coincidence factor and have control of the game.”

“If a club like Man United contacts you for such a role, you cannot possibly turn it down.”

Fucking hell, no. These last few weeks have been horrendous. I'm sure you've all enjoyed it tho.

Anyway, just watched the game again and the night of Fred, which it should henceforth be known as.

Apparently, this fella is one of the first names on the teamsheet for Brazil and you would certainly never accuse him of not making things "happen" when he's in a United shirt.

Arsenal are attacking before HT and one of their lads has got the ball with his back to goal 25 yards out. Fred is shadowing. Now, I know, having played quite a bit of the game in my younger days, that you want to go for the tackle, but the risk (a free kick 25 yards out) outweighs any potential reward (you can't tackle through a man) and you've just got to stay tight and make him play the way he is facing (backwards).

Fred's decision? Scythes through the man and gives Arsenal a free kick. Five minutes later he's up the other end laying on the goal for Fernandes.

These are just two incidents from his 90 minutes.

Does somebody perform lobotomies on the pitch when we're not looking?

Plus, what sort of goalkeeper collapses in a heap with the ball still in his box because Fred's ... trodden on his toe?

How many times does that happen in football?

I mean that can be fucking painful, but on a goal line once patrolled by Alex Stepney...

The way that shot the just dribbled over the line, five feet away from him.

Fucking hell - he could have hopped on it.

In 5 seconds we saw there why Moyes, LvG, Mourinho and Ole never had a chance.

    So, so United.

I see it's become kind of 'a thing' now to say that Roy Keane is parodying himself, but he picks up on things like this and his critics should be specific about where exactly he's wrong.

It all comes down to keepers being protected far too much.

Ben Thornley on Pravda, sorry MUTV, when I watched it again before, was saying that it shouldn't have been allowed and Arteta was morally wrong for clapping the goal!

    Bollocks!

It was a perfectly good goal and didn't break any rules of the game. As you say, de Gea should have stood up and Fred shouldn't have stood on his foot in the first place. Nothing wrong with the goal at all apart from being calamitous on our side.

So, so United of late indeed.

Him and Bailly would be equally at home doing sketches on a Thai boing-boing comedy show.

Can you imagine him with Keane as his captain?

FFS Bert Trautman played with a broken neck!

That's the difference in class between City and Utd.

The differences between City and United are numerous and none of them good for you.

One of them is 20 league titles, another is 3 European Cups and a third one is a club with a proper history.

I'm happy to continue should you be so inclined.

Alas, tis the weekend and I'm just cracking this open.

Have a bitterly blue one, Chits.

You're not seriously putting that forward as competition to an English ale?

Even that Italian nonsense you two drink would be better.

Not at all. I'm fed up of it now too.

The view aint three bad though.

My best mate is coming over at Christmas, so I'm hoping he'll put a couple of ales in his bag for me with the pork pies, teacakes and mustard. Hoping.

    Nice view twat.

I've got my eldest birthday party tonight in the mancave, just finishing up with the preparations.

Shall be joining you shortly on the lash if your not passed out in a pool of piss.

Bert Trautman played with s broken neck and De Gea fell over like he'd been shot in the back of the head cause he had a sore foot

    Fergie trained him well
    Shalom
