It strikes me that a few examples aside, the amount of dirty money sloshing around the game has become inversely proportional to the quality of the players and games. The money getting offered for journeymen is staggering, Arse have been at the forefront of buying mediocre "talent". I have found the Championship more interesting than the Premier league for the last few seasons and that's not just Arse being a bag of shite either.

I rarely watch any Championship matches, though did watch Derby V Birmingham recently. I found it astonishing the difference in the quality of the football, with for this match at least, passing relegated to 'hoofing' it up the pitch at nearly every opportunity. More like watching a Sunday pub league.

Utd v Liverpool tomorrow is the fixture I look for the most and look forward to the least. A proper club and a proper rival.

I fucking hate it and I wish it had been done earlier in the season 'cos it's all I think about in the build up.

Just make sure we turn up tomorrow and remember it's fucking Liverpool even if there is nothing left to play for (although 2nd would be very nice).
