I was thinking exactly the same yesterday when I stumbled to the fridge for my 6th or 7th. There's not been much to shout about in my world for a while.

Fortunately, I don't do rugby, but I do have a soft spot for Oldham and Celtic, who are, of course, both doing terribly.

I could have a great long weekend with the fixtures spread over 4 days. Wouldn't remember too much of it though.

What a waste of fucking money

55 shots in our last 2 games. 24 off target, 21 blocked and 10 on target.

Greenwood was the only player who really turned up today, but even he, normally so reliable, was guilty of making bad decisions.

A bad bad day but always on the cards with us not clicking at the moment. We'll look back on this game when we're holding the title aloft in May and wonder how we could have been so bad.

Not really.

My mate, a Villa fan, said we hadn't clicked before the game when we were texting each other and agreed that this was the best time to face us. Villa are a decent team too with some decent players.

It's a long road ahead and a team with that talent will make it work eventually.
