The alphabet is a wonderful thing!
Bristol City also start close to the top of the Championship every year.
Mark Clattenberg on Jurgen Klopp's claims that United are favoured by refs:
“He is wrong to suggest there is an aura around United that sees them given favourable decisions. There used to be when Fergie was there, but that has eased massively since he left.”
Bruno Fernandes is named PL Player of the Month for December—his 4th award since joining Manchester United last January
He now has as many POTM awards as:
▪️ Cristiano Ronaldo
▪️ Dennis Bergkamp
▪️ Thierry Henry
▪️ Frank Lampard
▪️ Paul Scholes
▪️ Alan Shearer
▪️ Jamie Vardy
Now just imagine how good he would be if he cut out a few of his sloppy passes.
Come on United!!!
Don't let us down (again).
United looking good defensively, Liverpool with some very slick moves but don't seem to have that cutting edge in finishing. Methinks United will ramp up the pressure second half. 2-0 for United.
Utd to scrap it 1-0
Su Su.
Liverpool have many more shots on target, however it's a pretty even match.
I reckon 1 goal will decide it...
I don't think there's another game in world football that disappoints as much as this one. It's talked up for ages - red war in Thailand they call it - and it's almost always absolutely crap. I can count the number of good games I've seen between the two of us on one hand and still have fingers to spare.
In terms of the game, I'm never unhappy with a point at that shithole, but we should have nicked it with the chances Pogba and Fernandes had. Still top of the league though.
Now roll on next week for more torture...
There's a proper game on now..
Pretty good game to watch, what worried me was the amount of space that Liverpool found in the United half, luckily they didn't manage to do serious damage with it. I thought McTominey was great, strong on the tackle and decent distribution. Bruno was marked out of the game and should have been taken off earlier for Greenwood's penetration on the right. All in all though, even Stevens.
Not a bad point, didn't think I'd be saying that at the start of the season.
Rashford though...
Stop the politics and find some consistency
Juventus are lining up a move for Paul Pogba in the summer, when they believe Manchester United will have to lower their price for the France midfielder, 27, whose contract runs out in summer 2022. (Calciomercato, via Sunday Express)
Gary Nev on why we wont win the league (and City will):
