The current Theatre of Dreams to be no more and a new 90k stadium to be built on site as the home of the national obsession, Manchester United: Man Utd reveal plans for ‘once-in-a-century opportunity’ to regenerate Old Trafford | The Independent
It is also likely to be used as the home of England in the north and will be part of the regeneration of the local Old Trafford, Salford and Stretford areas.
I first stepped through those hallowed turnstiles in 1983 and the old lady might have the odd wrinkle here and there, but she's still as grand as ever (photo from Wolves in May last year).

^^ You just need the TD kathoeyexpert KW to show you how
Is it an injury problem?
Is it a Ten Hag problem?
Is it a Glazer problem?
The club has a large squad of well paid players, bought for inflated fees, but another bloke has to pay for the privilege of being ‘operations manager’.
What exactly is Ratcliffe’s area of operational expertise?
The club is an investment vehicle for the Glazer family. They are only interested in ROI.
Man Utd is a business, not a football club. Their reputation was achieved by the likes of Busby and Ferguson. No one since Ferguson has even come close to success.
Ten Hag is a minnow in terms of football management. Claiming injury problems as an excuse is very poor form indeed!
A new squad won’t change that! A new stadium won’t change that!
Ten Hag has been blessed with riches in terms of finance and the reputation of a once great club, with a global following. At this point of the season, they are too far behind to qualify for anything outside the English game.
Losing another poor manager is the cheapest solution to a problem for the Glazer family. Losing the status and money from European competition is not good for business.
Make no mistake, the club is just a business now.
If anyone should be sacked, it's this lot. :sssh:
Erik ten Hag fumes at Man United's medical team over injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia after being 'assured' out-of-action full-backs would 'both be fit in January'... and now both of their seasons look to be OVER! | Daily Mail Online
Useless bastards.
I see that expat cvnt Sir Jim has got his begging bowl out for a new stadium, the same cvnt who tries to hold the UK tax payer to ransom on his UK chemical plants. Why don't they just dial up more debt?
No he hasn't.
He's talking about public/private partnerships, which sounds like a fair deal to me as it will be used by the whole of the country (not just United) and will support regeneration of the local areas around the ground.
I mean, it's not like it's the Emptyhad, is it? Which came entirely from the public purse:
Building began in January 2000. The stadium was designed by Arup and built by John Laing. The stadium cost about £110 million. £77 million of that was paid by Sport England and the rest was paid by the Manchester City Council.
But you were ok with this? :)
Like everything else, Ten Hag seems a bit vague about their availability. Perhaps the DM is making a meal out of it. The headline doesn’t reflect what Ten Hag is saying about the players.
Most posters wouldn’t use a quote from that paper to support anything!
It doesn’t answer any other issues that I raised in my previous post either. Maybe you are ignoring those issues because they are not from such a spectacularly inaccurate rag?
erm, the stadium was built for the commonfarce games, which i think should be consigned to history. Ratty is building a football stadium and trying to sell it as a duel purpose venue so him and those Mercan cvnts don't have to cough up as much. Just how many white elephants does a town the size of Manchesterbhad need?
No, it's because I gave up explaining stuff to you after the other night because you are clearly absolutely fucking doolally. :)
The comments are widely available on various internet sites and newspapers as any vaguely cognisant person would recognise. The Daily Hate was one of the many messengers on Google reporting them (it was the top link).
Hope that helps. :)
Manc is turning into a shitehole ghetto like Birmingham.

Rasmus Højlund has today been named Premier League Player of the Month.
This is what the 21-year-old striker's club, Manchester United, writes on its website.
Thus, Rasmus Højlund becomes the first Dane in history to receive the award. An award he wins ahead of the likes of Manchester City's Phil Foden and Arsenal's Bukayo Saka.
In February, Rasmus Hojlund became the youngest player to score in six consecutive Premier League games - one of them on the striker's 21st birthday.

- I am very happy. "Of course, it's a great honour to win this award, especially considering the other nominees."
So yes, I am very grateful and happy for this award.
The award has been given since 1994, and although there have been a number of Danes represented in the Premier League over the past 20 years, Højlund will be the first to receive the honor.
Rasmus Højlund is currently struggling with an injury that has kept him out for the last three games.
The Dane is listed for 7 goals in 20 games in the Premier League this season.
:bananaman:
Mainoo goal of the month too.
Hojlund, Garnacho and Mainoo have been the shining lights of our dismal season.
And we'll get beat today ensuring another miserable Saturday chez nous. :grumpy:
The 3rd game Premiership game in a row that Hal the pessimist :) has predicted a defeat.
Roll on May when we lift the FA Cup and put the season to bed on a high. :)
They haven't won here for 10 years and I always start thinking "they're due one."
XI | Onana, Dalot, Varane, Evans, Lindelof, Casemiro, Mainoo, Fernandes, Garnacho, McTominay, Rashford.
Subs | Bayindir, Mee, Kambwala, Ogunneye, Amrabat, Collyer, Eriksen, Amad, Antony.
At least we have Antony to come on and change the game though! :(
(he was actually excellent in the 2-0 at OT back in April and ran them ragged. Mind you, they were as shite as we were good that day)
Saturday (z list) celebrity claim to fame!
My dad played football with and is still friends with James Tarkowski's dad!
He used to joke around with me when I was a nipper watching them both play pub football on a Sunday (until my dad inevitably got sent off each week anyway).
Unsurprisingly, his nickname is "Tarky."
Come to TD for all the big news of the day. :)
Direct from OT!

I wouldn't have minded seeing Fred the Red being on the pitch and keeping an eye on their Onana today. :)
