Bellingham was pictured leaving Carrington with his parents and United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward departed shortly afterwards.

Indeed, having just beaten Benfica 4-1 in the 1968 European Cup final, the first English club to win it. From the left Brian Kidd, John Ashton (I think), Nobby Stiles, Alex Stepney, Paddy Crerand.

My mum and my uncle grew up with the Kidds and my uncle and him knocked about together on the same street in Moston. They were both big reds and I still have lots of the old programmes and a few stories to tell.

One of the old favourites which used to tickle my uncle was to drive back from OT and Kiddo would shout out to a passerby to ask if they knew how the reds had got on. Rarely would they recognise it was Brian Kidd himself (and often the goalscorer that day) asking the question...

I used to see him occasionally when I was home on leave in The Cricketers Arms on Bradford Road, Miles Platting (opposite the gasworks where I believe the Emptyhad is now).

I know a couple of people who used to drink in there and the Grey Mare (not too far away) was a very very big United pub. I just Googled whether the Cricketers was still there and I believe it's a curry house now.

Don't want to derail this thread. Did 8 years in the Corps, various locations some exotic others less so. Last 4 years was in a Mountain and Arctic Warfare unit, spending every winter in Northern Norway. This photo is from the Royal Tournament at Earls Court in 1975. I'm on the left.

Anyway, back to Man United. This photo is from the One More Bar in Kanchanaburi last November when I was there for Remembrance Day. A few times I had a drink with Steve Coppell, who had just finished a contract managing an Indian team. He's on my right in the green tee shirt.

Great first photo. No idea why your Steve Coppell picture has been changed to that of a fat dog in a t shirt though.

I still see a fat dog

If you use Teakdoor's uploader and your photo has the same flle name as one already uploaded here, it will use the first pic with that filename.

Rename your pic to something obscure and do it again.

No, use Imgur, so obviously a mod playing games. OK, eye opener, less photos methinks.

I reckon you must be about 3 or 4 years older than me. Mine were Norman Whiteside, Robbo, Hughesy, Jesper Olsen and Paul McGrath!
