The citizens package costs £25 a year.

But you get a scarf, hat, badge, tie and a fiver of every match ticket apart from the big 6 games..

Pretty sure that's his United away kit from a few years back.

When was the last time 2 United CBs topped the player ratings.

Man Utd may finally have a pairing worthy of Vidic and Rio in Martinez and Varane

Finally, after eight expensive, calamity-ridden years, Manchester United appear to have found a partnership with the potential to belatedly replace one of the best pairings the Premier League has ever seen.
Of course, four games is not evidence enough to crown Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez as the new Rio Ferdinand-Nemanja Vidic. But the early signs for Erik ten Hag look very encouraging indeed.

It’s a simple formula, one that has served United extremely well when the blend has been perfected in the past. One attacks what moves; the other drops off. Vidic did the first job; Steve Bruce too. Rio, similar to Gary Pallister even if he was also peerless in the air, swept around.

With Martinez emerging as a modern-day Vidic and Varane bringing the kind of serenity and security that made him one of the world’s most highly-regarded defenders at Real Madrid, United now have a foundation they can build upon.

I think there'll be games when you have to take Martinez out of the firing line though and stick Maguire in. Horses for courses and all that.

Its hilarious how these Utd supporters come crawling out of the woodwork at the slightest chink a resurgence....they'll disappear again in a couple of games.

It's a tout site, Chitty. Or as they call themselves these days on the Internet "ticket resellers/corporate match ticket suppliers/ticket agents."

You've paid about double for each ticket (unless you are in the exec seats in the centre).

And if you are actually telling the truth, of course.

Depends where you are. You can get them for around 40 quid in parts of the Stretford End (cheaper for kids, younger people and OAPs) if you get in there early enough, but you'll need a membership and they will usually go to a ballot. So you might not get one anyway.

Mostly there'll only be exec tickets left for stupid prices unless you have a game like tonight.

You'll need to factor the extra cost of a membership in too, so if you really are planning to sit in the United end, that tout site hasn't done you a bad deal.

    But you're not, of course.

My mate sits there- I'll let him know who to look out for and to let everyone know when he sees you.

Did you really think I'd tell you what block I am in!
We will have to be low key and act like tourists which shouldn't pose a significant problem in there till City smash six past Manure and there's 60,000 empty seats.

That was one of the flattest games of football I've ever seen. Like nobody really wanted to be there, apart from Sociedad of course.

And I have no idea what is going on with the handball rule these days. According to Robbie Savage and Ian Dark, the rules state clearly that if it hits the body first it can not be a spot kick, but the ref wasn't even asked to go to the monitor.

BT Sport was just a black screen before, at HT and now too.

    Weird fucking day.

They took him off after half of the game and had him carrying the bucket and magic sponge for the kit man.

It will be interesting to see what team Ten Hag puts out tonight with us not playing until the plastics on the 2nd.

This absence of games just as we were building some momentum is obviously going to stop us winning the league.

    Damn. Drat. Blast.

I'm pretty sure we'll be looking down on your flaky lot anyway.

    Bunch of soft southern fannies.
