^ Unfortunately I think you may be correct. It could be a horror show.

Yes, it's hard to play a team that cheats so much, but we'll give it our best I'm sure.

Tune in to Totting @ 4pm to see if Jose's team talk has worked

Jose Mourinho tells Tottenham to play like ‘bastards’ and ‘intelligent c***s’ in leaked clip of Amazon documentary

Leaked footage of a new fly-on-the-wall documentary about Tottenham Hotspur appears to show Jose Mourinho demanding his team play like “bastards” and “intelligent c***s”.

Speaking in a team meeting, Mourinho can be seen praising his players for being “a very nice group of guys”, before adding: “But for 90 minutes, you cannot be nice.”

He goes on: “For 90 minutes you have to be a bunch of c***s. Intelligent c***s. Not stupid c***s. Bastards in the sense that you are there to win matches.”

The clip, which surfaced on social media, appears to be from the new Amazon Prime Video documentary All Or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur, which chronicles Spurs’ 2019-20 season.

The documentary makers picked a good season for drama, which started with the sacking of the much-loved Mauricio Pochettino before he was replaced by Mourinho.

Mourinho recently spoke about the documentary, saying he would not be watching it when it airs.

“I don’t like the feeling of being in Big Brother. I tried to forget them the majority of the time. I have no idea what is there, I have no concerns. Nothing is fake, everything is real.

“I think for them it must be great for them because they have day by day, 24 hours of what football club and dressing room is. They have everything. So, so, so, so real, nobody acted for it. It is just the way it is. Am I going to watch it? No. No I’m not.

“It is not something I want to, also because I know better than anyone what our day by day is here but I think it will be very, very interesting for the people who love football and love sport. I think it will be really great for them.”

^ There is a great deal of merit in the German system of ownership and fan involvement. The whole structure and funding of English football is flawed and seems to be getting worse.

    Totally agree.

How can the owners not be happy though? He's come in and given them more than a fighting chance of survival having been a shoo in for the drop.

Something must have been said by Pearson. He's got a big gob and he's obviously upset someone.

I notice also that Watford have to play the Plastics then The Arsenal.

If they ship enough goals and lose both fixtures, a Bournemouth win on closing day could be enough to relegate them.

I would imagine that Pearson is now wishing for this very outcome.

As per my edit, I can only think he's said something and really upset someone. If he wanted too much dough, surely they'd just wait until the season had finished and just say they weren't gonna extend.

To do it now when they're still battling for their life? Must be big.

Well the owner is Italian so logic will likely play no part in the decision. Watford are only ever going to be mid table at best unless they get middle east corruption levels of cash injected so i have no idea what the owner is expecting. Its also the start of the new season shortly and now they have to find a new manager who is unproven with the squad - madness IMO.

That said, they have outstanding national talents coming through in the 17-23 yr old age bracket.

There's going to be another 'Golden Generation' in a few years, let's just hope they don't outdo the international tournament runs of Ferdinand, Terry, Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes, Beckham and Owen.

but a poor return from all the money invested and some our brightest talent feel the need to play abroad in leagues where teams will take a chance on them in the first team..again Germany. Although there does seem to be some light at the end of the tunnel with current managers like OGS, Lampard and Arteta who seem to be willing to use youngsters in the first team.

i miss big Sam but i fear he's not politically correct enough in the current climate and slightly dodgy, i doubt he's ever used a hairdryer in the dressing room too.

Indeed, one more Spurs goal and United are up to 4th on goal differencre anyway, and with a game in hand. Just need Liverpool to beat Chelsea this week.

I didn't even realise this until my mate texted me a few minutes ago!

United were absolutely crippled by injuries in the first half of the season - not that the media will ever comment on this - while Arsenal and Spurs had problems with their manager and were all over the show. Everton too.

Lay cester got a bit lucky, didn't they?

The Arsenal played like a team without a care in the world last night. I mean they really didn't look like they gave a shit.

Presumably all the eggs are in the FA Cup basket.

As much as I'd like to win it, the idea of skipping Europe for a year and doing better in the league doesn't dismay me either, after the recent period of mediocrity.

    It's a win/win.

Although it would be nice to relegate Watford.

Well I agree for once. The fact we couldn't field a team inc some of our number one choices and even give Villa a game doesn't bode well if we have to cover off European games also. Still Ski may make that decision for us.

Pogba puts his hands in front of his face, to stop a shot from fifteen yards away from hitting his face.

    Neville is furious.

    0-1
