.After impressing in the Championship with Swansea City last season, Oli McBurnie has joined Sheffield United in a club-record deal.
20 million for someone who impressed in the Championship for one season.

    1. Paul Pogba - £93.25m, Juventus to Manchester United

Pogba's return to Manchester United after four years at Juventus caused a social media frenzy. #POGBACK trended worldwide as the midfielder completed a then world-record move. The Frenchman has had his critics at Old Trafford, but he will look to silence his Premier League doubters after playing a key part in France's World Cup success.

=2. Romelu Lukaku - £75m, Everton to Manchester United

Jose Mourinho forked out £75m for Lukaku last summer, with the Belgian going on to score 16 Premier League goals, adding a further 11 in cup competitions. The 25-year-old remains United's greatest threat up front, and he will be charged with spearheading the club's bid for trophies after finishing last season empty-handed.

Awww feeling all nostalgic are we?

I'd start learning words like "conference" and "Isthmian".

Aston Villa spent in excess of 100 mil. 11 new players in in the first team squad.
    Will they do a Fulham?
    Prolly.
NCFC spent less than 5 mil. Put all their young academy stars on 5 year contracts and kept the whole squad together.
Tight, close dressing room, all fighting for one another.
Norwich to finish above Villa and Sheffield Utd.

But they've brought in a lot of loan players though.

I suppose that makes excellent fiscal sense when you know you're going back down at the end of the season.

It makes fiscal sense full stop. Mistakes & lessons have been learnt.
NCFC have more PL relegations than any other team (i found out this week). They have spent their money wisely on the training ground facilities and Academy., which is Grade 1, ie same grade as the top 6. Great owners and management.
    Two signings, one a free.
Two loan signings, one a winger from Man City.
This is the best Norwich team since the early 90's when they finished 3rd in the Premier League (nearly won it) first season and were the first English team to beat Bayern in Munich.
Box of Chang says they are still Premier League next season.

Agreed, but if you look at the market, young players from the top end of the EFL is fairly pragmatic and affordable for a provincial club on a budget. Blades have still spent 50m + before the window closes. Norwich have spent tuppence, and Villa 100m +.

A big chunk of that 100m was spent securing long term loan players on permanent contracts. PL clubs are only allowed 2 PL loans.

I think Newcastle, Brighton and Norwich will go down end of season.
