I'd like to see Utd push though their youth squad and get 6th.

As opposed to the reality of them pushing through their youth squad and getting 8th or 9th.

The title is out, Top 4 is unlikely, take a season or 2 out to properly build.

So The Arse have bought an 18 year old Brazilian forward, borrowed a 22 year old Real Madrid playmaker (who's taken Rambo's number), and bought an 18-year old defender and loaned him back to his club.

That ain't going to fix a porous defence.

At last someone in the premiership who believes in UK talents - is there a future?

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola believes Phil Foden is "the most talented player" he has ever seen.

Guardiola, who has managed the likes of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Arjen Robben, spoke while the 19-year-old midfielder was sat alongside him.

Foden, who has scored seven goals in 36 appearances since making his debut in 2017, is expected to feature heavily this season.

"He has everything to become one of the best players," Guardiola said.

"I have said many times in press conferences, but maybe not said it in front of him, Phil is the most, most, most talented player I have ever seen in my career as a manager.

"His only problem is sometimes his manager doesn't put him in the starting XI. Hopefully in the future that can improve."

Phil Foden has come through the ranks at Manchester City, breaking into the first-team squad at the end of 2016

^ a lesson in how to inconspicuously interest and sell to clubs underhandedly your best academy players to the highest bidder so you can keep on buying experienced players and use your thieving mega bucks academy as a legit child trafficking millions making racket

The ruination of football are those oil rich Arab owners of Man Cheaty who play the equivalent of Championship Manager 98 with unlimited funds. Take a club with a tiny piece of history, bulldoze it all to the ground and build another stadium advertising Arab airlines and get the new age fans to sing 'the only team from Manchester' whilst selling the fickle new fans Halal pies and laundering a shit load of oil money and consigning their best academy player a contract for publicity but only a start in non Premier League Cup games against teams
    liks Gillingham.

They're worse than that Chinese League.

Imagine being a pro footballer and signing for a Chinese team with TV rights to 4 billion paupers and telling their fans that you dreamt of playjng
for Dongtwat United as a kid

It's time for us the fans to changed loyalties and stopped supporting these money grubbing cuts.

    Hic

You idiot, he's just saying that to brush off the press who keep asking him why he keeps buying players and won't give home grown talent a decent change.

If you were really an Arsenal fan you wouldn't come out with such dumb shit.

Well Arry, hopefully you've calmed down. It seems Arse have been hunting down the back of the sofa and found some cash, they still seem to have forgotten they need a defence.

Arsenal have reached an agreement with French club Lille to sign Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe in a deal worth 80m euros (£72m).

The Gunners will pay for the 24-year-old via a series of instalments that suit their restricted budget for this summer.

An agreement between Arsenal and Pepe's representatives still needs to be finalised.

But the transfer is expected to be completed in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Italian side Napoli also met Lille's asking price, but their proposal was rejected by the player's camp.

Pepe tends to operate on the right wing and cut in on to his left foot, but can also be used as a striker in a 4-4-2 formation.

He scored 23 goals for Lille last season and satisfies Arsenal's need for a wide player with pace and high technical ability.

Arsenal offered £40m for Crystal Palace's Ivory Coast winger Wilfried Zaha earlier this month, but their Premier League rivals value the player at about £80m.

The Arse are coasting against Lyon with a 1-0 lead courtesy of Aubamayangadingdong.

    Nelson looks the bollocks.

And as I post that, the defence do their usual impression of small shrubs and let Lyon equalise.
