Can't see the Canes winning, but it's a funny old game.Anything could happen.
Would love to see the Jaguares win.How good would it be for the well being of rugby in Argentina?

The first half sees the Crusaders dominating field position and time with ball, but the Canes strike back with a converted try at halftime.
Halftime Crusaders 13 - 7 Hurricanes.
A minute in to the second half and the Canes strike. And it's Crusaders 13 - 12 Canes.
edit: ...and Crusaders counter punch with a try of their own.
This is a barn burner...
Hurricanes came out strong in the second half, but the Crusaders prevail...
Crusaders 30 - 24 Hurricanes
Crusaders!!!
Super Rugby 2019 Finals
Crusaders v Jaguares
my final pick...
CRUSADERS by 8
I might even pay my 12 pounds rugby pass to watch the final with a nice cup of tea and some biscuits.
You've gotta fancy the Crusaders.
Records to be broken?
The Jaguares react after belting the Brumbies in Buenos Aires last weekend.
Some stats for the Crusaders v Jaguares
Only twice has a team headed offshore and won a Super Rugby final. Both times it was accomplished by the Crusaders, against the Brumbies in 2000 and Lions in 2017.
The hosts are unbeaten in their last 30 games on home soil, a streak that started after the Hurricanes beat them in the 2016 regular season finale
The Crusaders and Jaguares haven't played this year, and have only clashed twice in the past. The Crusaders won 32-15 at home in 2016, and 40-14 in Buenos Aires last season.
This will be the 14th final the Crusaders have contested, eight more than the Brumbies and 10 more than the Blues. It will also be the sixth final the Crusaders have hosted.
The Crusaders have won all 23 home playoff games since the competition's inception in 1996.
Latest odds (NZ)
Crusaders $1.18
Jaguares $4.74
Bugger... I'll be somewhere over northern Europe during the final and won't get into Frankfurt until an hour after the full-time whistle. Oh well.
Go Crusaders!
Another Super championship title for the Crusaders, beating the Jaguares 19-3 in the final
that wasnt easy by any means, but some game the jagu's put up,the score of 19-3 doesnt tell the whole story,as the crus.had to make twice as many tackles.
As a neutral, I thought the win and the points margin flattered the Crusaders. The Argies had 2 or 3 moments where better execution would have resulted in a deserved try; they surprised me with how consistently competitive they were throughout the match - very good effort.
The Crusaders were the best team in the competition, deserved to win it, but I'm not sure they were the best team on the day - a good, close match. If the Argy 10 didn't give away possession with dumb kicks, time after time in the third quarter especially, then the Crusaders, excellent, defence, might have been broken?
Cycling should be banned!!!
The Argies had at least 2 clear chances to score a try and the Saders only try was off a turnover.
Having said that the Saders were clearly the best team all year and in spite of the fact it was a close game on the field (not the scoreboard) deserved their win.
Congratulations to all their fans.
After all the effort I went to setting up a TV to watch the game I ended up missing most of it chatting to other people.
I may also have been very, very drunk.
Crusaders cleanout ... players moving on: Kieran Read, Owen Franks, Ryan Crotty, Matt Todd, Jordan Taufua, Tim Bateman; also Sam Whitelock (Japan, return 2021), assistant coaches Ronan O'Gara and Brad Mooar, and there's the potential of coach Scott Robertson going to the ABs coaching role end of this year.
2020 - may be the Jaguares year?
Yes, but it's a good thing. The young talent that Canterbury has will now have more of a chance to play. Alaalatoa up front is not a bad successor to Franks. Dunshea and Barrett at lock in no way represent a loss. Todd is a tackling machine and will be missed. Braydon Ennor looks the goods for midfield, and Canterbury is loaded with young wingers and fullbacks.
With my one eye I see a bright future for the red and black.
pues, estamos aqui
