It was all about getting over the line on Sunday in our 53rd game of the season, hot on the heels of the Sevilla debacle, still 2 first choice centre backs down and carrying the walking wounded!

I came in from West London with the Brighton fans, who were feeling optimistic:

Thoughts on Wembley: bogs still full of piss and it took me 3 hours to get back to my digs in Kensington (I did stop for a kebab near Wembley Central though cos the queues for the tube were horrendous). And I know we ripped the piss out of City and Sheff United for not selling out the previous day (City covered their empty sections up with banners from the COVID era ), but there's a point about these smaller northern clubs being asked to come all the way down south.

Obviously, little clubs like City and Sheff U were never ever gonna sell out, so why not have it at Old Trafford, Hillsbrough or Villa Park instead? If it's a game with two clubs who are likely to sell out then you can have it at Wembley, but why not be flexible?

Even lads next to me on Sunday were having to leave before the end of penalties because they were worried about missing their train/bus/plane/donkey etc.

I managed to get a ticket for the semi but, with the reduced allocation, won't get a ticket for the final so Chitty and I are going out on the piss in town...
