Putting the Buxton match in my diary!
Might even get the Altrincham match in if times permit.

Seventh-tier Buxton, the lowest-ranked side left in the FA Cup, will host League One Morecambe in the second round.

The winners of the replay between Altrincham and Gateshead will be at home to League One Charlton.

At least two non-league sides will feature in the third-round draw.

National League South St Albans City travel to National League Boreham Wood and sixth-tier Kidderminster Harriers host National League FC Halifax Town.

Both clubs have been in the lower leagues for a long time and overshadowed by more successful local clubs.
Great sets of fans and atmosphere last night.
About 20 miles apart so yeah a derby of sorts.

    Possible upsets this weekend?

Charlton to beat Norwich. Millwall to beat Palace. Yeovil to beat Bournemouth. WBA to beat Brighton. Huddersfield to beat Burnley. Hull to beat Everton.

Can't see too much beyond that and I reckon Charlton is the most likely from that lot.

I was thinking of having a go on Charlton, Hull and Huddersfield. I imagine you'd get reasonable odds.

If Hudds were at home, I'd be more confident, but Burnley and Norwich will be fielding a reserve side and Everton are away from home and have obviously been struggling. Hull are 19th though, so maybe not.

Edit: Everton have injury problems, apparently...

I went for a treble on Charlton, Millwall and Huddersfield in the end. 60/1.

Ronnie Radford, magic of the cup and all that nonsense.

I went in my bet365 account and found a £15 balance co I've had a 15 fold accumulator on the cup.

I was thinking of adding some of those "bankers" on to boost the potential kitty, but with Covid around and Premier League teams fielding their reserves, I was a bit wary.

Not that my 60/1 treble is a guaranteed winner either, of course.

You've clearly done a chitty with those potential winnings as well. Does it actually say 1 pound 56 potential returns?

I bet £15 on a fifteenfold accumulator , total return if they all win is just under £160k.

I only wanted to bet £2, damn online betting fangled app gadgets.

    How does that work then?

I'm only familiar with the very basics of betting ie 3 bets on an acca is a treble etc. You've got 6 bets, so how does it become fifteenfold?

I think he means a fifteen game accumulator, but he's trapped in Shakespearean England, sort of like Oliver Twist.

All fifteen games must win to collect the hefty pay out!

Or I may cash out at some point, depends how my nerve holds.

Reminds me of my youth and a time when I put a 10pence each way accumulator on at the bookies and raked in £400.

The bookmaker fooking hated me coz he had to do all the calculations manually.
I'd often bet a few massive accumulators for the craic with low stakes.
I remember one settler saying" here he comes" to the bookie as I walked in the shop

    Chitty the bookies curse

Btw you got good at maths real quick.
