    So was Ryan Giggs

Guardiola acknowledged the luck involved in the goal and said there is plenty of room for improvement in the midfielder's game.

"Today he was fortunate, he wanted to control the ball but it touched his knee,"[at]Guardiola[at]said. "His movement was incredible. He arrived in the box, the pass was incredible from Gundogan. These kind of balls are difficult.

"His (Foden's) first goal at home, 90 minutes more for his experience, his self-confidence. Of course he has to improve, he lost three or four balls, he has to be more consistent but that is normal at 18 years old and in the future he will prepare."

Guardiola added: "If he plays, it's because we believe he can play. We are not nice people who play him because hes a guy who's a Man City fan.

"No, it’s because we can believe he can do it, [he makes] mistakes sometimes but that is part of the process. Nobody is born knowing everything.

"In the next game he will have another opportunity, we have the chance to be in a final [of the League Cup]. We want to be in the final again, the first game at home [against Burton on Wednesday]. We are going to try to get the result we need to go there."
He's not gonna be getting many chances in the Prem. Follow Giggsy's lsad son

He needs to bulk up 10kg of muscle then he won't get pushed of the ball as much.
Having said that, he's was like lightning today.

Gotta admire Oldham and their 4000 fans going to Fulham and clinching a win in the dying minutes.

59 places separating the two teams.

    What a penalty save !

Klippity Klop has realised he's dropped a bollock and needs to take the cup seriously, Annfield is lacking in silverware of late.
Another club with one foot in the past, same same Manure Utd.

He's subbed his big guns Salah and fiirminio on in the 70th minute.
    C'mon Wolves

^Tough draw for Man Clitty. Wolves win rewarded with a glamour tie away from home. At least they won’t have too far to travel.

Arsenal v Man Utd - I just know that the paperboy will rightly field a good team, Arse will go for their Reserves; gonna be disappointing from my perspective - still you never know

Obviously one of the many plastic fans we acquired when Wenger arrived.

Dick will put out a full strength side, he loves cup competitions.
