We are talking Man United here, Cyrille, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Lucacku looks great in Italy, so does Smalling but West Brom would probably finish top 6 in Serie A nowadays.

I'd certainly prefer Martial over Lukaku but Greenwood I reckon will take that centre forward spot off Martial soon.

They can manage with Martial for now but he's no Shearer or Van Nistelrooy or Henry or Rooney as Hal thinks.

A more pressing concern right now though is that right sided spot. Hopefully they'll land Sancho.

Over the last seven years they've proven they can make anybody look like shit.

Always preferred Martial coming in off the left.


Then Sancho on the right, with a combo of Rashford, Greenwood and a world-class #9 would definitely get them closer to where they should be.


Just Sancho and the defence (LB and CB. Recall Henderson to challenge DDG) in the next window would be great. The MF is okay for the time being with Pogba, Bruno and McTominay or Fred.

Arsenal defender David Luiz is available after a ban, but Bernd Leno, Calum Chambers and Gabriel Martinelli are all out with knee injuries.

Lawro is all in for an Arse win.


Arsenal are just a mess at the moment, and this is a situation that has been coming for a while.


Some people point the blame at former manager Arsene Wenger, but I don't agree with that. Even his worst Gunners team would beat this current Arsenal side, easily.


There just seems a total lack of a cohesive plan at the club when it comes to things like scouting, recruitment and contracts, and I feel sorry for manager Mikel Arteta, because none of it is his fault.


Since Wenger has gone, there has been a scattergun approach - and it has not worked.


As for this tie, I am going for the Blades to win on penalties, but Arsenal's problems will not be over by a long shot even if they do get through.

Sideshow in the starting lineup...this has horror show written all over it. We are going to make Manchester Sunday League Utd look like a top 4 side.

The arrival of Bruno and the return of Rashford and Pogba make him look good. Stick him in that Watford side and you have another Wellbeck, albeit one who won't try and win the ball back.

Take those three out and stick the mighty Daniel James behind him and you've got a side who'd be battling Arsenal for 8th spot.
