Not that I give much of a toss.
But I did find this amusing.
South Korea: 280-strong N.Korean delegation arrives in S.Korea for Winter Olympics
BTW ... North Korean delegation including a 229-member cheerleading squad arrived at Inje in Gangwon
North Korea's 229-woman cheer squad has crossed the border into South Korea one day before the start of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
Key points:
- The cheering squad has arrived in South Korea for the first time in 13 years
- The squad has many fans in South Korea and Japan, particularly among young men
- A cruise ship carrying an orchestra from North Korea was met with protesters
The women, wearing red coats with black fur collars and matching fur hats, received a celebrity welcome as they streamed off their
buses and disappeared into their hotel at a South Korean race track resort.
The squad, which reportedly features women chosen for their youth, good looks and enthusiasm, has been allowed to root for the
North's much smaller contingent of athletes — only about 22 are competing — as part of a last-minute arrangement between Pyongyang and Seoul.
It's the first time a cheering squad from the North has come in 13 years.
