The young English lads have had a brilliant experience and will go on to better things in the future.
Whereas most of the other teams were full of hasbeens in the twilight of their careers.
The future is bright for the English national team and they've restored confidence in their fans also inspiring a new generation.

Anyhow for the sake of an argument , everyone knows the best team in the world is Manchester City.

Is croatia the team who are banned from having spectators at their home games for the next few years because they mowed a fucking big swastika into the grass on the pitch.

A few schools, couple of hospitals and personal worldly benefits is a cheap price to pay for the WC, as Brazil may one day confirm.

They should ban religion from matches, I don't like to see Muslim players praying to Allah before the game or after goals are scored.

I watched snippets of the last one we were in at the marine disco in pattaya in 1990.

The only memorable event was Peter Shilton fucking up to concede a goal.

More ‘complete waste of time’ than sombre, I think.

People wondered why they bothered in 1990 and that is no clearer now.

No goal from open play in their final game, and it would be 2 in 510 minutes of football.

Even including set piece goals, a total of 4 in 420 minutes is pretty bladdy dire.

The moment got to them. Him and Lingard.

Both with golden opportunities to make it 2 nil before half time, both just needed to bury it, something both are well used to doing. Instead both got stage-fright, held back a moment too long and tried to pass it in.


Hopefully for them it will be invaluable for them in 2 and 4 years time.
