It's homing come.
Oh Well.
Just not good enough.
Exceeded all expectations though.
Best team won.
Twat the French.
Well after all that kerfuffle, it appears it's not coming home after all.
Useless Tottenham twats to blame, I say.
Here's hoping for a good final.
Hopefully they can recover in time to give France a good game.
And beat the fookin' Frog koonts.
Croatia really picked it up after that first England goal. Should be a very good final match.
Well done England.
Well done the English Supporters.
Showed your pride and passion.
The World Cup Semi-Final and a play-off for is an achievement.
England's a young team, building a foundation ... the future is bright for England
Good point.
Two extra time games for Croatia, plus playing a day later then France (France having an extra day to recover),
the Croats have to be knackered.
So, who do then Poms support for the Final?
The Frogs they dislike or the Team who just knocked them out of the Final?
Oh well, you win some and you lose some.
piss-taking apart the Croats look knackered in the first half and England should have killed them off by halftime.
In the second 45 they stepped it up a gear and their experience showed through in the end.
Clearly, Croatia dominated play, TOP, and shots-on-goal throughout the second half [especially after their first goal] as well as into both extra periods - unlike their lackluster first half effort, where England dominated and missed a couple of scoring opportunities.
Nonetheless, an endowed hat tip to the POMS for a decent tournament effort - they certainly weren't expected to get this far.
Well done boys. The future might be bright, as the core group are reasonably young.
Cheers, ya cunts.

Bad luck boy's,but i think you have found the new messiah Southgate look's the goods.
We did better than Sweden, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Argies and Portugal so nowt to cry about
Have to deal with it, they're pros playing for the most prestigious trophy; tomorrow they'll be up and training.
Must say the ref (Turkish?) let them get away with some nasty shit in the first half, FIFA HQ must have reminded him during the break how the card thingies work.
Aside from rough stuff Croatia played great in the second half and deserved to win, while our heroes looked impotent up front and shaky behind, and at the best of times the frogs are knuts so I be rooting for the knuts that sent us home.
Of course he will be. We've overachieved to get to the semis with such a young team that will only get better and Southgate has brought a positive vibe to the squad and the country.
Really happy with our tournament but the class of Modric and Rakitic (and Perisic) told in the 2nd half against our midfield.
As you said, we could/should have been 2 or 3 up at HT, but Croatia's class told overall and the best team won on the day.
For once though, England fans come away from a tournament feeling good about the future.
Not too disappointed because it was all so typical, and though there is ambition and skill in the England players, the lack of tactical play, (not controlling the game after 1-0 and lack of supply to the front men throughout, especially in the crucial extra time) shows Southgates lack of vision and stewardship under pressure.
Yes we did well to get where we did, but based on our performance last night you can see the luck of the draw was a big factor in that. Next up the Euros, and I expect England to return to their default of 'all show and no go' with the media cranking up the hype way beyond the reality for this new generation of paper heroes.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
You're talking complete and utter bollox.
The lack of tactical play?
How do you think they managed so many goals at set pieces and looked so dangerous with the 3-5-2 set-up that Southgate switched us to?
Not controlling the game at 1-0 and lack of supply to the front men?
That's because an experienced Croatia side were better than us (it happens in Football) and the midfield pairing (and other areas) is still young and naive.
Yes we did well to get where we did, but based on our performance last night you can see the luck of the draw was a big factor in that.
Ask Germany, Portugal, Spain etc about that.
Nxt up the Euros, and I expect England to return to their default of all show and no go.
Given what we've just seen, and the talent in the squad that will only improve, there's absolutely no basis whatsoever to suggest that this will be the case.
Have you ever kicked a football before?!?!?!?
Looked so dangerous? I think we must have been watching a different match.
How many shots on goal, or even how many touches in the 18 yard box from the front two?
I'm talking about the tournament, obviously.
England have scored 12 goals in the competition so far, missed plenty of chances along the way (2 or 3 in the first half today that would have given us a healthy lead at HT) and Harry Kane is on course for the golden boot.
Do you think this just comes from sending the lads out and telling them to hit the big man up top?
You're clearly a grade-A know-nowt, "bud."
