Having had some more time to reflect on this I've come to the conclusion that it's probably one of the best things that could have happened for rugby on the whole / in general right now.

And November 20 is going to be focking awesome!

^ I agree... things were getting stale - with the AB's domination.

It's not like their domination is over, they've lost a single friendly game played in an emerging market, one loss in 18 games, hardly means they are going to lose to Italy and Japan in up coming matches.....

I bet they will fucking murder Ireland in Dublin in a few weeks time......

Apparently Joe Schmidt apologized to his mum on air because she's an All Blacks fan.

Well, I reckon the boys in Green will do it again. This was not a particulalry shit game by NZ, it was not a fluke that they'd been cuaght napping or anything, Ireland just were better.

For sure NZ will return stronger and harder, the question is can they make the changes needed to counter.

So No, it's not an automatic win for the NZ return. But NZ are a great team, they showed that they can adjust after so many big retirements last year, so they have a strong chance of winning the rematch

Eh? I can't agree with that at all.

Back-to-back World Cups, record setting run, plenty of wins snatched from the jaws of defeat... Not really marks of a side that wilts under pressure. The 'chokers' tag may have applied in the past (although I always found it slightly disrespectful to the teams that beat them also) but not now - they're still the #1 side and world champs.

One loss against a side who were simply way better on the day doesn't change a whole lot. They had to be beaten sooner or later and that's what happened. Quite resoundingly as it happens. In fact the All Blacks didn't lose the Irish beat them.

^ Yeah, AB's are almost, bulletproof...

My choking comment, was more to do with sports in general, rather than Rugby, which we excel at (and I have little/no interest in)...

I am hopeful the mad Irish can do it again... although I think it very, very unlikely... I don't think the Irish give a toss... they are just happy to have beaten us...even if it doesn't happen again for another 111 years...

I think Ireland winning back-to-back is highly unlikely.

But then I thought it was highly unlikely they'd win in Chicago so...

Like you said you don't follow rugby.... and if you think that is how the Irish feel about it you know even less about Irish rugby that the little knowledge you have shown about Kiwi Rugby.....

Do you just talk for the sake of hearing your own voice in real life as well?

lor krup... Yup, I happily admit I know fook all about Rugby - and unlike the experts like yourself, don't pretend to know, or care, the goings on in their minds... however I vividly recall that's exactly what the Irish fans said on the news, in their own words, not mine, cock.

beating the world champions is always a good buzz...and getting that 111 year duck off our backs is a blessing.

FYI....the All-Blacks have been beaten once already on Irish soil....by Munster back in 1978 in Thomand Park, Limerick.

you may have noticed the formation the Irish boys used when facing the Haka.....a figure eight.

that was to honour Anthony Foley....a great player for Munster and captain of Ireland who died of a heart attack in Paris on 16th October (he was the head coach of Munster)

    he was only 42.

his father, Brendan Foley, played in the legendary Munster team of 1978.

    i'll let you ponder that.
