Thread: NCAA Football 2016

^ I'm a member of the "Die Hard Coug Fans" group on FB but refrain from posting much because I'd probably get banned. Yeah, Love the Cougs ... but damn if UW can bring a national championship to the state of WA this year then I'll take it over an Apple Cup victory for WSU.

This year in NCAA football I am waiting for the big game. Cal will beat Stanford this year. My kid will be at the game cheering. She will finally understand the draw of football and sport in American University

You guys are cute. Cheering for west coast teams like the level of competition is on par with teams in the ACC, and SEC.

Gotta say I think sacrificing the quality of football is a good deal in avoiding living in those areas of the SEC....

Man you so crazy! It wasn't that long ago the SEC sported 4-5 teams at the same time who could end up the national champions but right now there can be only one ... Alafuckingbama. The rest of the SEC sucks ass right now. If anything the B1G has raised the bar the past 3-5 years and passed the SEC.

Agree the PAC 12 competition has trailed off ... especially on defense. Just nice to see a couple teams doing well instead of USC, UCLA or Oregon.

I'm just saying, it's a different brand of football that's played on the East Coast. In 20 years, one West Coast team has won the national championship, the infamous 2004 USC Trojans, under Pete "the cheat" Carroll.

Sonny Dykes runs the same Air Raid offense he learned from Mike Leach at Texas Tech so it could be a barn burner. But I think you're right that WAZZU might have a slight advantage on defense. I'm guessing over 90 points total ...

Can't believe Ohio State is ranked as high as they are after losing to an un-ranked team. That's some bullshite!

Its silly indeed. This is why I so want Washington to take the national title. Texas A&M with a loss higher than Washington as well.
