I knew fuckwit would fall for this bullshit from the Arabs.

Basically most of what they argued got thrown out, bar a couple of items that will be addressed.

And of course it has nothing to do with The Cheats' 115 charges.

Simon Leaf, partner and head of sport at law firm Mishcon de Reya, told BBC Sport: "Whilst the decision will be embarrassing for the Premier League, because in a couple of narrow areas their rules have been found to be unlawful, generally speaking the decision confirms that the vast majority of the APT rules are indeed lawful.
Speaking at the Law in Sport Global Summit, Leaf added: "Therefore whilst we can expect to see some changes to the rules going forwards, on the whole this isn’t a resounding victory for Manchester City by any stretch of the imagination."

Manchester City have accused the Premier League of being "misleading" over the verdict in its landmark legal case on rules over commercial deals.
City have written to top-flight clubs criticising the league's summary of the case verdict, saying it contains "several inaccuracies".
The letter to the 19 clubs and the league, seen by the BBC, was sent by City’s general counsel Simon Cliff on Monday.

Top-flight clubs all laughing except, unsurprisingly, Chelski, Geordie Arabia and the Toffees.

Rodrigo has won the Ballon d'Or and in doing so, becomes the first Manchester City player to claim the coveted honour.

    Of course he is.

They were fokin' nobodies until they started cheating.

United have had 4 separate winners, btw.

Only Juve, Milan, Ronaldo Madrid and Barcamessi have had more players win it.

Still, yer tied with Inter Miami.... but behind Dynamo Kyiv.

The current situation proves that association football at this level is run as a business, further removing the game from its roots, as something supported by working class supporters.
For both sides to claim any kind of victory is disingenuous at best.
No one wins, especially not the game. To try and highlight minor victories within the complaint, simply makes the protagonists look foolish, and tries to take advantage of ‘marketing’ practices, again superimposing business rules on the game.

The only winners will always be the legal teams on both sides. Money is dragging the game through the dirt.

Yep, sadly the genie is out of the bottle, when even conkers have cheating allegations the world is amok.

Nice quote but 10 years out of date!

His job is a business appointment. Supporters lose out again. When will the EPL produce a salary cap? Even in a short career, the average EPL starter gets an obscene amount of money. Would you like to tell your kids that you whitewashed money fora living?

You'd have to go back to the pre-Ferguson era for the last time a United manager lost 4 in a row, apparently.

Pep Out is already trending among the Twatterati.

Pep's gonna resign, they're gonna get relegated, the players are all gonna leave and they'll be back where they belong.

    The Championship.

    It's gonna be delightful.

Premier League issues statement as Man City defeated in APT vote - Manchester Evening News

No doubt their legal team will be firing off letters and briefing their lapdogs in the media saying they've been hard done by or calling it a win again.

Who are the cheating, corrupt bastards gonna try and sue next?

    * National League North.

In other news, the Premier League voted against The Cheats and approved the new APT rules yesterday.

The only clubs to vote against it were The Cheats, Geordie Arabia (surprise, surprise), Villa (whose owners have their noses in the Abu Dhabi trough) and Forest, who I'm sure have their own reasons that will come out, probably also related to getting money off The Cheats owner.

The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth

    Five in a row.

"I said when all the clubs accused us of doing something wrong and people say 'what happens if we are relegated?'

We're gonna find out soon enough.
