I remember back in the old days of IRC when the occasional Turk used to come on.

The comments would be along the lines of...

"Turkish fans are always fisting. We fist anybody, we are not scared".

Me: "Really, so do you like fisting men"?

"Yes we fist only men, never women".

Me: And does fisting men make you hard?"

"Yes, Turkish men are hard when fisting!"

    etc.

Ronaldo won the Ballon D'or for the World's best player while at UTD.

Wanted to go to Real Madrid, the manager said give us one more season and I'll let you go, if it is as the most expensive transfer in history.

After scoring around 42 goals, some of which were just ridiculous, he was sold for a World record transfer.

Because of this thread, I clicked the CNN story about the loss of Man City to Man Utd. Lol. I don't follow football, but I know Beckham played for Utd. I think Ronaldo did too?

I remember the scene from the movie Euro trip - the Man U fans in their own bus and engaging in a fist fight later in the movie. So were those scousers, chavs or pikeys? (To those who have seen the movie)

    Again, thanks in advance.
Errr. Not quite Katie. Scousers and Manchester football fans hate each other with a vengeance like no other. Man Utd fans would rather lose to Man City than drop a point against Liverpool and vice versa. Chav or pikey scum. Not much to choose between them, and not true fans in either case. Supporting a football team should not be an excuse for violence.

The Croydon Ladies pulled back mane has itself been named the CROYDON FACELIFT

In Englishslang, a Croydon facelift (sometimes council house facelift,[or in Northern Ireland a Millie Facelift) is a particular hairstyle worn by some women.[ The hair is pulled back tightly and tied in a bun or ponytail at the back.[3] The supposed result is that the skin of the forehead and face are pulled up and back, producing the effects of a facelift. traction alopecia, a type of gradual hair loss, can result from hairstyles that tightly pull the hair in this manner.
This hairstyle is frequently portrayed in the media as belonging to young women from the lower social classes, particularly the Chavsubculture (Ned in Scotland, Millie in Northern Ireland). The term is thus considered derogatory because it portrays people from Croydon as being lower class. Croydon can be replaced by the name of any other unfashionable residential area.
The Croydon Guardian newspaper jokingly suggested that the style may have originated with the ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti.

On a personal note may I add the ladies of Croydon are keen and grateful, and excellent target practice for us as schoolboys who found the Addington and Roundhay variety less refined and a longer walk home

In the era of young gifted and black , Whitgift boys were the creme de la creme and include Derren Brown and The school was also home to sport stars such as Victor Moses (professional footballer), Danny Cipriani (one of many professional rugby players) and Lawrence Okoye (2012 Olympian and current San Fran 49er).

I read about Ronaldo some years ago, because he was my celeb crush at the time. Then a guy friend told me that he's gay (or at least bi). Minor heartbreak....

There's prolly a YouTube vid about the Man U fans in the movie Euro trip. The protagonist waking up drunk in the Man U bus - that was a hoot, as well as the Man U fist fight. Cheers.

On the Main Rd to EtiSAD the special tears.

Or he could be laying down muttering in a pool of his own piss in a Piccadilly pedestrian tunnel, clutching a bottle of Archers in a brown paper bag in one hand, and his other hand out begging for coins to try and raise funds for the journey home.

    Just sayin'.

If they go out tomorrow we may not see him again until opening day.

I would imagine Sheikh Yerbooty won't be too chuffed either. Have to go out and buy another manager and another shitload of players.

Plus all the Qataris will be ringing him up and taking the piss if Barca win it again.

There's just so much shit to throw at them today. This is Paul Lake at HT:

Anyone would think they were repeat champions over about 20 years the way they'd been going on before the game. They've won 4 fucking titles and a couple of cups despite the millions of oil money they've had.

Similar to Wolves and Huddersfield, but these clubs had actually earned it.

So has Citee won the Premier League yet and can we now go back to not having the NRL turned off to watch the Wog Ball by some English soccer hooligan?

Nope, unlike kitty; Lake 'the City Legend' (who also represented England at B team level) has been quite classy about it

Yep, getting a fair bit of flak from my Red friends (!) for my half-time comments yesterday. Guilty as charged. Got a bit giddy. Lesson learned

Its very probable that Our Cockwomble friend will have more than Teakdoor members feelings on his plate

I'd rather watch the League 2 Play Off semi finals than that shite.
