I think you mean, they have not played a top tier team. That's true.

    There play however, has improved.

    We shall see.

    Playing Atlanta tomorrow.

their play against the niners (worst team in football) and the 1-3 jets? HA!

they looked like crap vs LA and MIA. this week vs ATL will reveal a lot.

Yes it will. Russell Wilson has been playing hurt since the Miami game and the the starting RB Thomas Rawls has been out all season so far. The bye last week could not have come at a better time. The defense however has been splendid.

I do not see the Falcons beating us at the clink.

its looked good against arguably 3 of the bottom 6 offenses in the lg. wouldnt get too excited about that. your D units are not what they were in the years past. too many departures.

You are right. They are better.

The best teams so far have the best defenses so let's rank the top defenses overall - 2016 NFL

    Samsara, I do agree.

LA and Miami were awful games by the Hawks, and they only beat Miami b/c of butterfingers dropping the bomb pass.

The O-line is looking better, and Ifedi is playing. Not a great O-line, but they seem to be improving.

ATL will be telling as Snub notes.

Are the Seahawks good? Yes. Are they great? we don't know yet.

    With Seattle, we'll see.

We also never know when a player(s) crucial to the team will get injured.

Hate Seattle? Oh yes, definitely. Easily the most irritating team/fan base combo in the NFL.

    Hmmm...

Dallas, NE are far worse fan bases dude. Get real. Are you a fortywiner fan?

Oh I see you are from Michigan. Still sore over the Rose Bowl thrashing the Huskies gave you guys in 1991? 103,000 on hand to smash you guys 34-14. Desmond Howard.

A team has to be relevant to qualify, so that pretty much puts Dallas out of contention for like two decades. New England? Hmmmm....no Seattle is more irritating.

You mean the second most irritating fan base in the league? No. They would almost be in contention with Seattle, but again....relevance.

    Annnnndddd....another swing and a miss.

I am and always have been an Arizona Cardinals fan. We should be along to give you guys another good thrashing here shortly.

Uh, you guys lost to the Rams. And came within a fart's inch of losing to the Miami Dolphins. The Bills shut out the Patriots and beat the Rams. You know, the team that beat you guys yet you want to ROFL about?

Our teams have both been shit so don't kid yourself. The division is wide open

    Just curious,

What does the fan base do to irritate you (or others)?

I've never heard about how people from outside of Seattle think of Seahawk fans.

12th man = the year 90% of the fanbase starting giving a shit ('12). Now its all flags and t-shirts. I lived in Washington. I was there. Biggest bunch of know nothing bandwagon football retards ever.

Using phrases like "Beast Mode" to sum up their day at work, dressing up cardboard cutouts of movie stars in 12th man gear and putting it in their bedroom, liking Pete Carroll. It just goes on, really. Utterly intolerable people.

And you are saying this as a Zona fan? HAHAHA

Talk about a fake fan bandwagon fan base. I was on board in '83 with Jim Zorn and Curt Warner.

    Bandwagon my ass..

Congratulations, you are part of the 10% of your team's fanbase that doesn't suck balls.

Individual mileage will of course vary, every team has true die hard fans that were there during good and bad times.

And I am under no illusions about my fan base's knowledge of the game (or lack thereof) nor bandwagon prowess. We excel at both. Where our respective teams and fanbases differ, however, is in the obnoxiousness department. Its really a rare combination of obliviousness, lack of football knowledge, absurd recently found confidence and corresponding trash talk, rooting for a team with eminently dislikable players and staff without any knowledge whatsoever that this is the case. You guys are really peerless among any team in any sport that I can think of. Perhaps the LA Dodgers or San Francisco Giants might be remotely apt comparisons, but even then I think you guys lap them pretty easily.

This is pretty much accepted by nearly all football fans who don't root for the Shehawks by the way, in case any of this seems shocking or whatever....

Curt Warner, one of the best backs I've ever seen.... saw him run all over Dallas on Thanksgiving Day in Texas Stadium.

Shame he blew his knee in the days when it was a career changing injury
