^ they are certainly the very best in the world at forward passes!

I still reckon big, strong tight 5s can grind down the super rugby style teams. The Chiefs, for example, were penetrated () by the distinctly average Force many times, so the style of play means the same team that wins 40-20 one week can lose 20-40 the next week.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Wales do in CheatingKiwiBastardLand; they should be well prepared.

Also, looking forward to Eddie Jones' bodyline tour although I don't think England are ready to be competitive in a series against the top sides yet.

I'm a bit surprised the Sharks lost at home.
    Cycling should be banned!!!

I made reference to that in a previous post and yes the Kiwis play that well.

Very difficult at the speed they play to pick it up but they seem to get away with at least 1 a game which leads to a try.

    ROUND 6

    Friday 1 April
    13:35 Highlanders v. Force

    Saturday 2 April
    00:00 Lions v. Crusaders
    13:35 Blues v. Jaguares
    15:45 Brumbies v. Chiefs
    22:05 Kings v. Sunwolves

    Sunday 3 April
    00:15 Bulls v. Cheetahs
    13:05 Waratahs v. Rebels
Brumbies v. Chiefs could be a good one. Probably have implications for the finals series later on as well.

Sunwolves probably targeting their first win of the comp.

Mighty Highlanders vs. Western Farce not the one-sided match I thought it could be so far.

14 - 14 with 10 min to go first-half and just gone to uncontested scrums.

Good on the Force, kept it all square at halftime.

Bit of a scrappy game so far. Highlanders coughing up the ball.

Hopefully that lovely man Ben Smith can gee them up and we see an improvement in the second.

He is a terrible bloke, a real bastard, but a decent player, and is likely to gust through a gap and put some points on the board.

I have suggested before that he's the best 15 in the world, but was lambasted for such a statement.

The Force ahead now, but I still reckon they'll be comfortably beaten by the end.

Clearly by someone who doesn't know anything about rugby (it was Willy wasn't it ).

Blues are somehow leading the Jaguares 15 - 6 at the half.

They (Blues) are a bit like watching pixilated Japanese porn: offering promise and excitement but ultimately disappointing and pointless.

Come on the Brumbies!!! I feckinwell hate, HATE, the Chiefs, right up there with the Reds...

Don't mind the Blues, and actually went to one of their home games abouuuuuuut 22 years ago; they had a rather good team back in those days.

Much as I hate to admit it, some lovely play by the Chiefs; the little fellas running around the big fellas with excellent ball in hand skills.

Playing the Chiefs, you need to put the ball into the stands and stop them running the ball back cause they're too good - a bit like watching Cullen again...

I was going to say earlier, how can you not enjoy the Chiefs running rugby. One of the most exciting teams in the comp in my humble and not all all biased coming from Chiefs country opinion.

Every cuss you make against the Mighty Landers is a beer you must buy me when you're here (it's two for anything against that lovely man Ben Smith).

You already owe me a lot!

The game is still up for grabs, but the Chiefs have to be favourite. Always loads of points in the Chief's games, something like 40-30 wins...

    Not anymore... Chiefs running riot.

This game has shifted the Brumbies from contenders to pretenders in my book.

Hmmm, that was a great try. The Chiefs are looking back to their best like 3 or 4 years back. Look like we've seen this year's winners... &, that bastard no.4 is not even back from injury yet.

    Results from RD 6:

    Highlanders 32 - 20 Force

    Lions 37 - 43 Crusaders

    Blues 24 - 16 Jaguares

    Brumbies 23 - 48 Chiefs

    Kings 33 - 28 Sunwolves

    Bulls 23 - 18 Cheetahs

    Waratahs 17 - 21 Rebels
The Kiwi teams just keep on truckin' along, the Brumbies and Waratarts results throw the cat among the pigeons in the Aust conference and nobody seems to be really threatening in SA apart from the Stormers and their wheels seem to be falling off (bye-week notwithstanding).
