Have friends going to Hurricanes match tonight, predicting a big win. Hope this does not bring down the 'confident Hurricanes' curse upon the match. Round five and their first match of the season at Wellington

Stephen "Beaver" Donald, 32, is set to play his first Super Rugby game for the Chiefs in five years in Hamilton on Saturday, if he gets off the subs bench it's his 86th appearance for the Chiefs.
Chiefs have 12 of their original 33 squad unavailable due to injury incl 5 of their ABs, 3 players may make their Super debuts

Rebels, don't know, may not be so easy at home

    Stephen Donald, 2011

They've been my favorite underdogs/non-NZ team for last couple of years but they're a different side this year though.

Lost Strauss and le Roux plus couple of others and Drotske also. Seems like they've gone from exciting to just plain crap.

Some interesting results: Joe Pietersen is probably still trying to find a deep enough hole to hide in after missing from out in front; Brumbies handed their first loss (some controversy there apparently, dunno though didn't see it); and the Jaguares - who I've still not see play - look to be quite competitive.

Oh yeah, and fuck you Blues.
    No , no, no, no.

Alls I'm saying is that he's one of the nicest and most genuine chaps in rugbydom as well as being one of the best players...

... And if I was a woman I'd definitely hit that!

^ poof. Of all the ways you could have talked up the rugby player, you chose the gayest way - Socal will shortly be PM'ing you his personal numbers...

The Southern Kings have played some quite decent stuff, but may well be outta their depth today, but who knows, kick off in around half an hour.

Seems that the ref, video ref and commentators are all sucking much Chief cock... The Force were doing alright, but not easy against a decent outfit (I fukin hate the Chiefs, as much as the Reds...), never mind the officials too. Some decent back play by the Chiefs, and usually only 2 or 3 forward passes per phase...

    Betty's bleats notwithstanding...

Chiefs are absolutely slaying the Western Farce. They've lost interest in even tackling.

    Betts,

No wonder the ref was favouring the Chiefs....The Force walked off at half time!

The Oz online commentary had this in review

Absolute shambles this Force defence is.

This Force defence is porous. More porous than a really porous thing.

What to say? The Force got their arse kicked in. Michael Foley has to be under some serious pressure.
    .
Expected closer considering Chiefs travel and missing 12 of their squad for this match incl 5 ABs. Force v Highlanders next week, more of the same

The Chiefs did play some good rugby, but four of their tries were not tries; foots in touch, never seen so many forward passes - thought I was watching American Football...

The Force did give up once they went a man down; I'd like to say that was a bad reffing deciion too, but although close, probably the right call, just, maybe.

Didn't see it myself but apparently the Sunwolves had another close / competitive game against a SA team (Bulls) in Singapore so that's encouraging.

Watched the Sharks v Saders game until about the 60th min and switched off thinking the Saders were done. Pleasantly surprised this morning to see that they'd actually pulled it out of the fire.

The Kiwi bastards teams seem to be doing well...

Are Wales gonna give them any problems on the 2016 tour?

They seem to do everything far better passing, rucking, support play, tackling, line outs, goal kicking as well as yards faster in open play.

I reckon you could put the Chiefs OR The Higlanders against any other international side and they would win easily.

And they play really entertaining Rugby as well so you can't help but like them in spite of them pasting your team.
