I saw the entire game.

RW looked sure of himself in his throws, and of course Rawls.

Defense looked more in sync.

But it's SF and they are one of the league's worst teams. Zona and the Vikings are the big games (and at 5-5 all of the games mater now). Seattle has a shot at a wild card.

SK, we have 3 differences for Sunday and Monday: I'm picking the Vikings, Seahawks, and Browns.

I think picking the Steelers is good. I don't trust Seattle. We don't know which team will show up this Sunday, even at home at the Clink. It's hard for me to pick a team I am rooting against (Steelers). It causes that "cognitive dissonance" type of thing.

I watched the Seahawks/Steelers game.

6 or 7 lead changes. Baldwin shows he one of the best, or the best WR on the team.

Seahawks are still hard to peg. Vikings next week at MN....hmm.....

Will wait for the reports (on the largely ineffective) Graham.

I saw the last part of the Patriots/Broncos. Wish I could have seen it all.

I don't see Gronkowski returning this season.

I picked a lot of "away" teams this week. I picked the Seahawks, but I have my doubts against the Vikings at Minnesota.

Damn Packers got lucky tonight. It really would have helped the Seahawks especially with a tough road game this week.

Honestly I dont know what to think anymore I put much of the blame on Kris Richards the d coordinator. Playing weird formations and lots of zone. Stupid.

If you would have told me that the two top teams in the NFC would have been fighting for their playoff lives I would have said no way. The two teams strengths have imploded. Seattle's defense and GB's offense. Crazy

^ Seattle seems to have went into a serious funk ever since the dumbest play in Super Bowl history.

^ Every game they lost since was a game they led going into the fourth quarter.

^^^^ Yeah, there are some questions on DC Kris Richards.

Most of the attention surrounding the Seattle Seahawks this week has focused on quarterback Russell Wilson.

And for good reason. He turned in one of the finest performances of his career last week, throwing five touchdowns and no interceptions in a 39-30 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. But if the Seahawks are going to win their third straight game against the Minnesota Vikings, chances are it will be because of a big performance from running back Thomas Rawls.


Thomas Rawls leads NFL RBs in yards after contact.

Coach Pete Carroll has insisted that the Seahawks' formula has not changed. They want to play good defense, run the ball and avoid turnovers. The Vikings are allowing 4.35 YPC on the season (24th) and rank 23rd against the run, according to Football Outsiders. Their challenge is even greater this week with starting defensive tackle Linval Joseph (foot) sidelined. Joseph is Minnesota's leading tackler among defensive linemen.

Linebacker Anthony Barr (hand/groin) and safety Harrison Smith (knee) are listed as questionable.

Rawls has been impressive filling in for Marshawn Lynch. Since Week 10, only Adrian Peterson and Tampa's Doug Martin have more rushing yards than Rawls (309). On the season, his 5.61 YPC ranks second to Philadelphia's Ryan Mathews.

And Rawls continues to fight through tackles. He's averaging 2.68 yards after contact, first among running backs. Even if the blocking isn't perfect, he's able to make things happen.

The Seahawks' run blocking has improved, and their scheme is more diverse than it was earlier in the season. If they come out of Minnesota with a victory, there's a high probability that one of the major reasons why will be Rawls and the ground game.
