That's pretty much the polar opposite of Asperger's

    Now why would that be?

These attempts to minimise Smith's knowledge and responsibility in Sandpapergate are really quite pathetic.

cyrille, maybe you are confusing 'Aspergers' with 'ADHD'

Research indicates that people with ASD have an increased ability to focus attention on certain tasks . No I didn't think so, the only thing you have seen Smith do without a cricket bat in his hand, is him conspiring behind closed doors to be a cheating cnut.

You telling your kids that he's a good man just adds a fabulist or bullshitter to their list of Aussie role models

Bairstow dropped from the squad for the games in NZ.

Interesting to see two Lancy players in there as well. There was a bit of hype around Mahmood when he first came onto the scene, but it then seemed to die a death. Dunno owt about Parkinson.

Sorry about that boys. I'm still caught up in the fervour of the summer's action.

Very good Ashes series. The pitches presented by England are proof that pitches which help the bowler are going to produce interesting matches. The duke ball also assists the bowler more than the kookaburra due to the seam prodruding, which means the ball moves around on green English pitches.

Sadly, drop in pitches mixed with the kookaburra ball in Australia have taken away the character of traditional pitches (bouncy Brisbane, turning Sydney, fast Perth, etc.) and moslty produce roads that see 4 or 500 runs per innings the norm. It`s no secret that the broadcasters request 5 day pitches, which often result in a yawn fest.

Personally, I would like to see the duke ball used in Australia too.

England openly admit using saliva from mints on one side of the ball in the memerable 2005 Ashes. Just about every team has been guilty of ball tampering.

Dopey Warner was the `brains` behind sandpapergate. The fact that he was so brazen about it meant it looked really bad, which is why the players involved were punished heavily.

It was an extrememly stupid thing to attempt with so many cameras, but jumping on your high horse and preaching that England have not tampered with ball is nonsense.

I blame Warner and feel that he is a complete cvnt for attempting such a thing, but the 3 involved have been punished and it`s time to move on.

Smith will be reminded about the sandpaper saga the rest of his life not only by the Poms but also by Australians.

I agree he was not the instigator but he allowed it to happen and as the skipper he should have clipped the idea in the bud.

The one thing I remember most about Greg Chappell is not the fact he was a wonderful batsman but the fact he made his brother bowl that underarm shit.

Not cheating but not in the spirit of the game.

Anyway you can be sure every time Smith scores another decent innings against the unwashed he will be publicly reminded just like every time we retain the ashes we are reminded that we can never physically hold the ashes urn.

    Some things never change.

Yup! He will never live that down! You really have to feel sorry for brother Trevor, who was just following orders.

He pretty much ducked out of public life because of it.
