Poms too good, Aussies too bad.

And if Clarke isn't sacked after this I will never follow Australian cricket again.

    Congrats to the English.

He was out of form before the tour not to mention the rest of the players think he is an arrogant over rated prick as proven when he left the NZ tour because his girlfriend was shagging some Aussie Rules player. Whatever respect I had for him evaporated after that incident.

Smith is a far better captain.

I don't give a fuck if he has a funny beard and he is religious. He's still English and pink on the inside like the rest of us.

He was interviewed about his beiefs by Martin Samuel for the DM before the series started.

KP can also relieve others and has been known to bat.
But KP is an arrogant twat who is not popular in the dressing room.

I have always been a big KP fan and the fact is we still have problems that could be resolved by his inclusion. I was disappointed when Strauss excluded him. He does have flaws however, and as Harry pointed out he is divisive in the dressing room. KP is a very selfish player who, despite his obvious talent, will always put his own interests first. Joe Root is a better bowler.
Ali gets ny vote, as a good team player and an entertainer. The final nail in Petersens coffin is having Piers Morgan as his No1 fan.

It seems he is not much good at shagging either.

That in itself should be enough.

I just heard from my Dad in Oz that Clarke has resigned and the next test will be his last.

One more wicket and it's the Ashes coming home.

But, I'm watching the Convicts lose at rugby, at home, again...

I don't think these Aussies are mentally strong enough to finish the series all of them look gone. Maybe we should let them throw darts instead poor chaps.

Enjoyable after the last series thrashing we got.

I wonder what teams will turn up for the last match: 3-2 or 4-1?

I still say it's small margins in cricket which can have a big swing. & goats.

Joe Root now number one batsman in the world, How the fok Smith got there is a mystery to me fellow can't deal with minimal ball movement.

Smith is obviously a good batsman, and has played a lot of good innings in the last 18 months, but yeah, you wouldn't consider him a top top player.

We still have plenty of areas to work on: finding an opener would be nice, getting Bell into top form too.

Be interesting to see how this young England side tours in UAE against Pakistan, and South Africa away next.
Still need to find the right combinations in the top order and Ali needs to be pushed harder for the spinners place.

Just watched Michael Clarke and have to say hat tip to him. Yes he fell on his sword and he had no choice in that. He did so with considerable syle and good grace. Obviously no Australians will thank him for that, but I will.

Wish we'd asked New Zealand to stay for a full series and given this mob just a couple of one dayers.

At least their neighbours might have given us a bit of opposition.
