^ I'm rather hoping Stark will be out of the series. Once Hazelwood gets injured then everything should be peachy from there on in.

I'd be tempted to take Balance out of the team, push the best beard in British sport upto 3 then put Rashid in at 7. That'd strengthen our batting and bowling, imho.

Every session has been important, as is the case in great ashes matches, but before lunch today is vital because if the Convicts settle in, score at pace...
    Cycling should be banned!!!

In limited over cricket...with fielding restrictions...yes easily...but this is test cricket

    Fuck off Bruce.

Oz regularly score at over 100 runs a session.
    Remember Amazing Adelaide?

At 90 overs per day, and the Convicts regularly scoring over 4 an over, we need to bowl them out today.

In the light of cricket over the last few months, 400 in 2 days for the number 1 team in the world is doable. Almost all the lcuk has gone Englan's way thusfar, so a few bits of luck for the Convicts, maybe a few good early overs, getting to 90-1 or so by lunch, which is very possible, then they could be at 220-3 by tea, 340-5 by close of play - and errm...

We did not finish the job off, we needed to bat until lunch today.

Exactly - He is the X-factor. Fast fire 2nd innings centuries are his specialty and if he pulls it off and we are only a few down with 200 shaved off the total then it's game on. One thing you can be sure of is Australia will play to win. We don't do negative Cook style cricket

It would be an Ashes record if they chase down 412.

    No chance.

This is why Australia would have batted first if they'd had the choice.

    ^ yes and no 'Arry.

Yes, you're right. But, records have been tumbling all year long with more aggressive batting approaches from the Convicts, NZ and England amongst others. Unusually for a test match, they have 2 full days to get the runs; runs have been scored quickly in this match, so there's a LOT of time left.

Have any of you actually been watching this test. The wicket is near enough dust. There are no runs in it. England will bowl and field to expose convict weaknesses and that pitch will only help their cause.
Mark Wood is my new hero.

Have you not noticed that 30 wickets have fallen in the first three days then?

You have to wonder sometimes. Certainly none of them made it past tea yesterday.

    Nope.

He just wasn't sure it had carried.

It was nowhere near being a bump ball.

Shit moustache bloke gone to a bloke with a fake beard. Who'd a thunk it.

Bump ball Wally, you sure you're not watching another test? Even your rose tinted specs can't be that bad.
