Wonder why they didn't play for Wales.

Probably because they ended up in England and playing for english clubs.

Once that happened they would go off the WRU radar for prejudicial reasons.

Never forget Josh Lewsey is welsh and wanted to play for Wales but growing up in England the WRU wanted nothing to do with him and his brother. Funny that they would trawl New zealand looking for players with a welsh granny but wouldn't bother with kids from Welsh speaking families who happen to be living in Bromley.

And where is Josh Lewsey now????.....

With the WRU. But its not as if he had any emotional attachment to wales having spent his whole life in England with his English Dad (who perhaps forgot he was half welsh).

Perhaps the lesson is that it is time to forget about this daft experiment of letting Wales have a Rugby Team and get all of Wales best players into the England camp.

I can assure you Josh wanted to play for Wales and his parents did everything they could to make that happen for him and his brother, but all atempts to get him accepted at youth training camps etc were knocked back by the Welsh.

I know this as Josh's Mum told me the whole story one day. I wish I could remember the details because it was atale of everything that was wrong in the WRU of the day.

Perhaps the lesson is that it is time to forget about this daft experiment of letting Wales have a Rugby Team and get all of Wales best players into the England camp.
Glad you said that today.... gets me back to focusing on how much I hate you cvnts.

    That's not very nice...

The Welsh are on a hiding to nothing today. If they win well, that's expected and really does little for WC prep (little positive anyways...). If they just win, that won't be good enough against this England line up and won't help their WC prep. If they lose, then they'll be slaughtered, be in bad shape and the press will want changes (although a loss may add some motivation to the WC game).

Wales should win comfortably today. They should gradually get on top up front, and they should also dominate the midfield area which is where they will likely be going in plan A fashion...

Such as?..... we have little else outside of our first 15 who are clearly the best players in the positions.....

    Actually it's nice to enter the 6N / Autumn's without (m)any injuries.

hahahahaha.... now that was fucking funny.....

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate James Hook, I think he's a good guy and a pretty good player, but he's never going to cement any position other than 23 in the Welsh team. and he will not be the second best player in any single postion.....

Good utility back but no messiah.....and he's past 30....... time to move on..... sadly for him

It is good though how few injuries you have. I guess thats what comes from half the team sitting on the bench in France most of the season.

    You mean Lydiate and Phillips.......

only one of whom is in the team...... so your 50% becomes 6.6666 and seeing as he is now back in Wales playing weekly......lets call it 5%

Now just admit you have made a gross exaggeration.....

Injury and susceptibility to injury come from the week in week out action, so you can not judge it on those sat on the bench today but over the last couple of years. So I will take your 6.66666666666666% and will take a bit more to 20% prior to admitting I might have over egged the pudding a little bit.

If Wales win by less than 50 points today it'll be a pretty shameful performance against this England 3rd string...

Fair comment actually. 30-40 should mean that heads will roll in the management. If Warren "the mouth" gatland can not get the game finished by half time with another 21 unanswered points there after from Wales he should walk.

You can get 40-1 for Scotland to win the 6 nations, obviously... But, BUT, this year, if I were a Scot (heaven forbid), and I were sober enough to walk to the betting shop, and I wasn't banned from the betting shop, and I had enough money left from my dole to make a bet, and if I could find an Englishman to help me write the betting slip, then, I'd put a few squids on the Scots to win it. At 40-1, it's gotta be worth a tenner, if...

Bookies odds don't show who is likely to win but is a reflection of where all the money is going. England will always have lower odds because there are more English people backing their country. Scotland will be lower because there are less. Wales and the Oirish are degenerate gamblers so they always have low odds as well.

Indeed - still debating whether to get up early or stay up late.

    Saes means saxon.
