I didn't used to like MB, even by his own admission, he was a twat...(still is a bit)..

but he's matured into a more humble, durable, exciting fighter.

Glad to see the the underdog beat the over confident, cockhold.

UFC 200 coming up soon. Who ya got?

Tate and Nunes - toss up (or toss off, its up to you) - but the edge to Nunes in the first 2 rounds; after that its Tate's to lose. I am choosing Tate, as she is better looking, to finish it off in the 4th.

Lesnar and Hunt - A knock out artist against a guy who hates being hit, should be a fun if short fight I hope and think Hunt puts him away quickly.

Silva and Cormier - umm Cormier I would assume, unless Silva gets lucky.

Edgar and Aldo - I think Edgar gets it done.

Then Pena, Hendricks, Dillinshaw, Northcutt, Sanchez, Mousasi, and Miller

    Great card!

I forgot, Velaquez makes pokey pokey Brown into a smoothie and drinks him up.

Disappointed to see John Jones out due to an illegal substance found in his system.
Expected him to win - but hoped Cormier would upset him (highly unlikely)...

He should maul the Spider though...

    Hunt will/should knock out Lensnar

    Edgar over Aldo

*Slightly off topic.. but why is Conor training/focusing on his boxing as the path to beat Diaz.. when he should be focused on his kicking game..

Always kick a boxer... box a kicker no?... why fight Diaz at his strength? especially as he has a height/length advantage...

If Conor grinds him down using leg kicks - and avoids a boxing match with Diaz, he should win.. if he tries to fight him using mostly punches, I can't see the outcome any different TBH.

^ I still think he 'could' win - even in a mostly boxing match (like last time) if his cardio is up to scratch for 5 rounds...(doubtful though)..

But why make it hard on yourself?? the blueprint to beat the Diaz brothers has been set by RDA and others that have implemented a strong kicking game to thwart their superior boxing...

Or has Conor forgone basic Muay Thai leg kicks, for his fancy karate kicks?

^ he is a good fighter, possibly even a great fighter, and has created a compelling persona that can sell a fight, but from what I hear, I think his ego is now preventing him from developing further.

Another whooping by Diaz will do him good, if he can get past the butt hurt.

    **Spoiler alert***

So much for our predictions... fooking dreary sad ass fights though..

Brock employed his famous 'lay and pray' strategy to stifle Mark's punches...
it wasn't pretty, but it did the job.

Congrats to BL.. nice leg kick!! .. this is what Conor needs to use to wear out Diaz... anyway.. we shall see.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brock Lesnar does a kimbo Slice soon , 38 ? he looked knackered at the start of round 2

Special for ufc 200 ? it was mostly rubbish

I will concede, Mr. Ao is right, the ladies fight was brutal. (I just don't dig chix fighting)...

Unless it's naked, in a pool of hot mud....

All round, quite a lack luster even... 2 big letdowns Conor, then Jones... I hope UFC 202 makes up for it...

*Or... has naked female mud wrestling!!

Brock Lesnar flagged for potential anti-doping violation after UFC 200 win

"The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Brock Lesnar of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection on June 28, 2016," UFC said in a statement

Mark Hunt wants some answers ... or else.
Upon hearing the news that Brock Lesnar, who defeated Hunt via unanimous decision at UFC 200 last week, had been notified by USADA of a potential anti-doping violation, stemming from a failure of an out-of-competition drug test on June 28, Hunt asked UFC officials for half of Lesnar's purse or else he would like to be released from his contract effective immediately. Hunt said the UFC has not yet responded to his request.
"The cheaters get a slap on the wrist and walk off," Hunt told MMA Fighting. "What penalty or deterrent is there to make them think twice? Nothing. And the [Nevada Athletic Commission], why should these [expletive] get anything? They are not the ones who had to fight with Lesnar or lose [to him]. I lost."
Hunt also told MMA Fighting's Marc Raimondi that he was "not surprised" that Lesnar tested positive. He told Fox Sports Australiaweeks before the fight even happened that he believed Lesnar was "juiced to the gills."
The UFC granted Lesnar an exemption from its rule that states a fighter coming out of retirement must inform USADA four months out so that fighter can be placed into the drug-testing pool. Lesnar last fought for the UFC in 2011 before last week. The UFC said that since it has been so long since he competed that he would not have to give USADA four-months notice.
This potentially marks the third time in less than three years that Hunt has fought someone who has been caught using a performance-enhancing drug. In Dec. 2013,Antonio Silva tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone after fighting Hunt to a five-round draw, and earlier this year, Frank Mir was notified by USADA of a potential PED violation after Hunt knocked him out in the first round of their fight in March.
According to the NAC, Lesnar's show money against Hunt was $2.5 million, however, he is expected to earn a lot more after the pay-per-view numbers were officially tallied.
It's unclear at this time what Lesnar tested positive for. USADA's policy is to not disclose the substance unless the athlete decides to.

Well UFC 201 is almost upon us, looks like it will have plenty of crazy fights, really looking forward to it.

I think Lawler will finally get knocked out, not because I think Woodley is that great, but Lawler has taking alot of punishment and its close to the time his chin will finally break. If Woodley is going to win it has be by R3, after that lawler will take him apart.

I also think Karolina has the savvy to get the better of Namajunas, Namajunas probably lost against Torres, and its only been a few months since that fight, so I dont think its enough time to make the necessary adjustments. But then again, Namajunas fights at a crazy pace.

Brown will most likely grind Ellenberger and KO or submit him by R3, Ellenberger could get a lucky punch off in R1 though.

    UFC.on.Fox.20.Holm.vs.Shevchenko

The Holy Holm fight was good
the loser was wasting energy throwing far too many high kicks too short

^ Some of the women are beastly... very tight technique (and tight round asses too hehe)..

Anyway... I think Robbie will smash Woodley... Wood has the physical attributes sure, but lacks heart and pure grit (unlike Robbie).

    As usual I was right.

Woodley hits hard and lawler's chin had taken so much punishment, he fights crazy, love him, but it was time for him to lose. I got the Brown fight wrong, but ellenberger is always dangerous in the first round, I hope it marks the start of a resurgence for him.

Next comes the fascinating nate and Connor rematch. I think you are right NZD, Connor wants to make it a boxing match and not use his kicks, his ego just cannot allow him believe there is a better striker than him anywhere in the world, this plays right into nate's strength.

Dicky should never bet. He has been wrong in each prediction he has made. Not even close either.

Connors striking is good, but Nates boxing is high level in MMA. If you watched the last fight closely, Connor was leading with an uppercut and Diaz was catching him mid punch with jabs to the body. It was a big reason why Connor gassed out in my opinion.
Connor does not want to be leading with that uppercut again next time. I can't see the next result being any different from the last, I think Diaz outclasses him in every aspect of the game. OK, I'll give kicks to McGregor over Diaz. Diaz doesn't check leg kicks very well, McGregor will probably have to leg kick him to death.

^ I will watch the fight again, I think I could watch a dozen times and not get bored.

I think he was outclassed in the boxing, and fell apart once he realized that nate could eat his best shots without blinking, and that is eating him up. He could beat nate if he used his kicks to set up his strikes, and chopped nates legs, but it is a point of pride for him in my opinion to beat nate at his own game.

Yes I agree. It makes no sense for McGregor to want a rematch with Diaz, Diaz outclasses him in Boxing and on the ground he is on a completely different level. McGregor will have to utilise his kicks a lot. It has to be about pride.
