The fighter that did win, Ol' Suga McGregor, I'm still not sure how they judged that as a loss for Putter Yan.

I went with your predictions, which all sounded great at the time, until the fighters came out and the stats clearly marked them all as massive underdogs.

O’Malley won simply cos of the blood river, Dillashaw lied his way into that fight and will probably never ever fight again. Olivieira was out of his depth.

Does O’Malley really need to fight Sterling next? Not cool for him.

    A dodgy win.

Dana wanted him to win as he wants a showy koont to get the numbers in. Will be interesting to see if he gets the title shot off the back of that 'win', even he wasn't saying he should get it.

Yeah, a shitty thing to do, done for pure ego and self.

DC didn't bother asking if he thinks it was his last fight.

    A powerful display by Islam.

Did what the previous lads all failed to do, to jump on him the second he's knocked down.

Of course there's a reason for that.

    The short Aussie next.

I downloaded it off the bay and we all watched it in the bar after MotoGP.

I lost 700 baht, but the bar did well.

TJD said his shoulder popped out 20 times before the fight and he spent half his training time learning how to pop it back in, and that he briefed the ref before hand not to stop the fight if it pops out cos he can deal with it. Surely he breached some part of his contract there.

Max Holloway was deemed 'Medically unfit' to fit Khabib years ago and he was fine.

His shoulder definitely didn't pop out every time he sneezed.

Meatball Molly also on the prelims.

Can see, and actually wouldn't mind seeing Pereira get him, a KO finish would be massive for either of them. A new champ would shake things up.

Can also see Zhang Weili (trains out of Phuket btw) getting the belt.

Poirier v Chandler will be a banger, Chandler will bring pure violence and Poirier better bring that inner dog he had a few years ago.

Not too sure, can't understand a word the Jackeen Dub says.

Possibly though, he was also after United and Chelsea. To be fair to the lad though, the wanker can actually afford it.

Bitch fight coming up. The broad that trains in Phuket is the underdog.

    The underdog won

Good call. We got a new middle weight champ. And the Chinese broad has the belt

    a gracious Israel Adesanya post-fight

But when asked what he was feeling in the post-fight press conference, Adesanya carried himself with the same energy he has done through his wins.

    “I’m grateful,” he said.

“What a life, what a moment. It’s crazy isn’t it? Similar to the last time; the same story. It’s crazy.

“I put it on the line, and this is what happens. Dare to be great, and I am.”

So while Adesanya was disappointed not to get the win, he was happy to step back and look at the bigger picture.

“It’s not frustrating,” he said of his result.

“I’m just happy to be here, happy my team is fine. Look what we did today. It’s beautiful.”

    ^ Always gracious in defeat.

    A good quality to have.

That's now 3 fights and 3 loses against Pereira in his career. I think Pereira's the only person to beat him in other promotions too.

Not a good stat to have.

More than likely. First time they fought in MMA and Izzy was winning 3 rounds to 1.

    As in 185lb?

Tbh I prefer the stacked 155. Any one of the Top 5 could be a worthy world champion right now, and then there's Islam that just destroyed Oliveira for the belt having fought none of them. They must be champing at the bit.

Yeah 185. I seen all of Anderson Sylvas heyday. I don't always pay attention but I always seem to catch the title changing fights . I thought Luke Rockhold was gonna hold it for awhile. That was when the harsh doping regulations came in

    Can't wait for this rematch
