    Just watching the game again.

WTF was Wales' gameplan? Did they have one? They have world class backs and barely used them. When they did, they quite often looked like rabbits in the headlights. Very bizarre.

Gethin Jenkins and Rhys Priestland were fucking awful, as was Hartley for England who gave Wales about half of their points.

Ha'penny and Farrell were faultless and the England 2nd row were awesome. England's rush defence seemed to completely unsettle Wales, which is a reverse from the last few years.

Mike Brown is the best full back in the 6 Nations and England are really enjoyable to watch. Far from the finished article, but getting there.

Some of the Welsh boys had nice beards.

For the dour Sweatie, the ref had a good game.

Yes ,mate but I bet you have never watched the 2013 Wales v England game again.

You know, the one were they gave you a 30-3 thrashing and played you off the park. The one that kept your big gob shut for a year, yes that one where you blamed the ref for the loss.....

I thought Jenkins was OK around the park, it was just the scrums where he suffered and if you watch the film Tom Wood is quite involved in why that was....... certainly after Poite's mind was set that Melon was to blame.

Priestland is a disaster when things don't go his way but the good news is I doubt he will pay in Cardiff next week because Biggs will be needed for his goalkicking.

You're right, I didn't post in the 6 Nations threads for a year. Funny that...

You're right, I didn't post in the 6 Nations threads for a year because I was shiteing myself that Wales might do it a gain this year, that is why I have kept a very
low-profile and tried hard not to be the cock-sure arse- hole that i usually am, up until now of course because I only sing when we're winning.

So, last round of games coming up.

Sadly, I'll probably miss them as I'm on the road that weekend.

Italy v England. England need a massive score if they want to overtake Ireland's points difference. A win for England, but not by 60 odd points.

Wales v Scotland. Wales will miss Halfpenny, but luckily they're only playing Scotland, so a piece of piss for them.

France v Ireland. I think Ireland will win with style, but am hoping France find a game-plan and beat them.

    Either way, it's close.

Regarding the wekkends match: we played close to our best, Wales played badly (ok, we had some say in that), but Wales could still have won if North hadn't've been so shite at try scoring time...

    Possession and territory were equal.

Thus, it's not THAT positive for England, although we seem to be on an upward curve, at last.

Reckon the French will capitulate just to make sure England don't win the title. They hate the rosbifs more than anyone.

England by 30 if they approach the game sensibly.

On the face of it the celts game is a non event but both have something to prove so it might just turn out be a cracker.

I was clear when I said competitive games, Your version includes the 4 World Cup warm up games that mean nothing.

It's always been a source of irritation that we have meaningless world cup warm up games using the greatest fixture in the world.

The good thing is we won't be doing it next time.

The biggest problem the French have is motivation...what do they get if they win? Nothing...they just allow the English the Six Nations which is almost as bad...the former will be the major factor...but one has to say what an amazingly powerful championship when Ireland can win it? I reckon the English will have their eyes on the tour to NZ...if they can pull that off they will really make some headway to the RWC.

French players have their jobs to play for and if they have any love for PSA his job as well.

Ireland or England winning is a similar evil to me, as long as we don't suffer the humiliation of losing to the Jocks I don't care much else about this weekend.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Galic Munching Surrender Monkeys put on a decent performance. I wouldn't be surprised if they're shite and Ireland win by 20 points. In Paris, not easy to win...

That's Robshaw's bird, by the way. I wonder if his work rate between the sheets with her is as high as it is around the park?

France v Ireland will be close indeed. Perhaps a bit too much emotion from the Irish lot and let the French sneak in? Doubt it. Ireland will romp home.

    Ireland should win.

England will win if they do the hard work first and don't start out playing sevens rugby.

It could be a very bad day for Scotland because the Welsh are a strong team, especially at home, and they will want to put in a very strong performance. I can see Wales winning by 20+ points...

It's going to be an irritating weekend I think, where nothing goes to plan.

England will struggle against Italy. Will put them away, but will try too much too soon and not get anywhere near the prerequisite points difference needed.

France will have decided to break out the decent Bordeaux and after a few dogdy early phases of play with beaucoup knock ons, will suddenly say "Heh, we are French, non? Let's play just to peees these people off" - never forget the French in recent times turn in one brilliant performance usually when everyone is calling them crap.

The Welsh will spank the Scottish.

You guys will win it this year.

A fitting end to BoD's amazing career as the best centre in the word (who would easily have walked into any team in the word, especially the poofta ones down south).

    Flange!
