^ Remember Betty, if you go for an england win, you're arrogant, and if you go for anything else you're insecure.

What the cross-dresser doesn't understand is that being English, you're never insecure and if a Sweaty thinks we're arrogant, who cares - we're English!

    Good point.

It's quite funny to see the anti-English sentiment being very pro-Welsh this week because they are gonna get pasted by the Welsh very soon after - worse still if Wales beat England because they'll have to put 40+ points on Scotland to win the title - that'd be an interesting game that could lead to the biggest ever points loss for the Scots!

what is Funny Betty is marmite's selective reading ability because if he
bothered to go back a few posts he would find that you were the first person
to mention insecurity. I am well aware of his anti-Scottish sentiments as I
am of yours, I was just wondering when they were going to come to the
    forefront in your case.
You and all the rest of the English Herberts like marmite wonder why there
is so much anti-English sentiment and why everyone likes you to lose.
It's because when you win anything you never shut up about it for days and
weeks so every non-Englishman loves the peace and quiet it brings when
you lose...It is really that simple.

Hmmm, I suppose we cannot be so reserved and refined as our Scottish brothers...

I actually like Scots folks, enjoy their company, but get a bit bored of the anti-English feeling that comes out at sports time. If Scotland play Kiwis, Aussies for example, than I'd be supporting them. My second team would be Wales, and I like the Boks a lot too, but I would support the Irish and Scots in most of their games...

I like Aussies and Kiwis too, but I would NEVER support them at rugby, I like to see the Kiwis win at cricket. I suppose, the respect I give the likes of the Kiwis in rugby, you give the English, so that's a backhanded compliment. Thank you.

Wales have got the best side available to them with Alun-Wyn and Jiffy Junior back from injury.

^^ All the 'star' players in the pack are on from the start. But, still don't rate the halfbacks (in attack or defence)...

The first 20 minutes should be a right torrid affair - looking forward to the game.

^getting a bit more confident now, Bob? Should be another cracking game.

This has been an excellent 6 nations, as we expected it to be.

Can only pick from what you have to choose from, Laidlaw is a decent scrum half and Weir while he's never going to set the world alight at international level looks to be getting a bit more confident but sadly he's the best we have at 10.

^ they had decent games last week, and should've gained confidence.

What pisses me off, one of many things actually, is the Bloody Cheating Kiwi Bastards probably have 5 no.10s better than anything England and Scotland can muster collectively...

Any comments we make about our team, you idiots jump on top of as being 'arrogant' or 'defeatist'. It's complete crap and all pricks like you do, is ruin otherwise interesting and fun conversations.

My ex-wife was half jock and a fine woman she is (the English half, obviously).

I'll let you into a wee secret, I have nothing against the England rugby xv per se but I do have a huge problem with the English support and the English media and tabloids and pricks like yourself marmite who like dishing the shite out but,but hate taking it. If you weren't anti-Scottish you wouldn't make anti-Scottish derogatory remarks but but you do. So you aren't fooling anyone. I will admit however
grudgingly England are more than a decent team just a shame about the support
and pricks like yourself making out that you are all hard done by. Man up....

Yes I did as a matter of fact, and not only once but twice.
I did it to illustrate the part of a disgruntled Englishman who can't understand why so much shite is get hurled back at him after he started a shitfight which is always the case 99% of the time.

It's a feedback loop. The other nations give us shit and we give it some back so we become and 'arrogant' just like Marmite and Betty. A little bit in yer face and over the top. A fairly normal response I think.

The defeat by a highly motivated (wooden spoon) French side was a great wake up call for England. The big danger is Ireland. Who do they have left to play?

No, I always expected them to play.

I don't fancy Jiffy fresh back from a 4 month lay off, especially with our French based players having been back with their clubs whilst England's players have been relaxing.

Frankly I wouldn't want it any other way.....

It should be another good game, the best game of the weekend, maybe. As I stated, I wouldn't like to call it, either team could win, probably by a few points, but you do have the edge at scrum time, and probably around the fringes too.

    England's main threats are:

    Mako Vunipola

    Manu Tuilagi

    Billy Vunipola

Mako looks about 60 - but he was born in 1991? Jesus wept.

Mako Vunipola is England's biggest threat?

    He can't scrummage straight........

The other two won't be playing.

Based on that.... Wales by 45

Bob touched upon this a few pages back - the rivalry between the home nations is something the rest of the world will never experience.

Historically true...but when the Australians got competitive a few years back that was pretty hot as well...but I think Scotland England is a top grudge match as well.
