Jones at the moment is looking like one of those guys that has just bet his mates a tenner, jumped the fence and is hoping to evade security for as long as possible.

The way he just jumped into that Burnley player in the first minute or so was ridiculous. When taken the kick hit the bar. Could have been hugely damaging.

I'm toying with it for value rise and representation. RVP is too expensive, Mata may be benched, and Wayne is possibly going to drop into a role too deep to warrant his price tag. Di Maria is a little too expensive at this stage as well though if he becomes the assist machine that he has been in the past, maybe he'd be worth a look.

Are you sure one of the players in your pre-wildcard team didn't drop in value?

Yes, only had one player drop and that was Ben Davies who I hung onto into week 2 to see if he made an appearance.

think the lads at fpl have tweaked the algorithm for price changes. far fewer risers this season and more fallers..

it was getting silly....most active teams had TV over 110m by the january wildcard..

Just read on one of the sites that some people use the WC at the last minute as to accrue value rises for the transfers they make up until that point. So perhaps that means that the values of your team are frozen while the WC is in play unless you take the hits initially and then use the WC to negate those hits.
