pretty satisfied with a rank of 56k though....had an awful spell in the middle and thought i would be stuck at 200k 'til the end.
Yeah a good turn around at the end indeed.
I was ranked 1.94 millionth after gameweek 4. Got it down to 5k after gameweek 20. In the end , 21k is pretty good i guess. Top 100k for 26 gws in a row.
well done ciz
ive not checked for a week or two but will look in later; interesting turn of events and im looking forward to more ladyboy action next season
The consolation prize....second year running
Noon won the szs 2011/12 league with an overall rank of 53,673 believe it or not.
Last year he won it with 15,662.
I finished on 7,899 this year, so it looks the szs league is getting a lot tougher to win.
Good going for you to make the top four at the first attempt, jimmy.
yes...well played. if G hadn't spunked out that wildcard too early he could have been up there.Originally Posted by cyrille

I put a team in on the opening day of the 12/13 season and didn't log back in to the site again until you talked me into doing one this season. Competition and banter do wonders for interest
amazed i finished 52%. Just shows at least half the entrants don't maintain their teams at all.
very 'ferdinandesque' that rio has left man united with a statement pretending that it was all his idea, when the reality is that he was shown the door.
good player, but what a cocky twonk.
It's the Championship. Even if you're a well run club and your wages dwarf everyone else's it's a lottery between the top eight. I'd like to see continuity with Ole retained and seeing if he can bring in some round pegs to put in his tactical round holes (ooherr).
No one is talking, no rumours so you can only really look at what we know and investigate people's possible incentives.
Mackay and Moody started legal procedures against the club. They've dropped those now.
Mackay said, “Today I have reached a settlement agreement dropping all claims I have made against Cardiff City Football Club."
So a settlement has been agreed but he has dropped his claim.
He then said, “If I have caused any offence to anyone during this time, especially to Vincent Tan, then I apologise without reservation."
“I will not be commenting further on this matter. I did not want to be in litigation and believe that it is in the best interests of all parties to have a clean break and move on.”
Now Tan has immediately come out blaming our relegation on Mackay and making reference to these apologies.
If you look at the timing and the fact that nothing else is being said on the matter, you can come to a couple of conclusions.
1) Mackay and Moody were in the wrong somehow and have dropped their claims based on that. However, if that was the case, why bring legal proceedings from their perspective and why has a settlement been made from the club's perspective. If they were involved in bungs or whatever, it would be in Tan's interest (particularly in regards to his loss of face in all of this) to drag them through the courts and be entirely vindicated on his decision to sack them and leaving egg all over the faces of those fans that still love Mackay and revile Tan.
2) Mackay and Moody have taken settlements handsome enough to warrant their dropping their legal claims. Tan is a very rich man and we know that in SE Asia and everywhere else, you can threaten people with long and incredibly costly litigation procedures with no guarantee of victory while for Mackay there are a few jobs open and available to him in Norwich and perhaps West Brom. The incentive therefore is to drop the claims, take the cash and get into another job immediately. Then, with Tan being who he is, there may have been a further stipulation that these vague apologies were made. This will help make your average moron who doesn't think about all of the above to believe that, yes, Mackay and Moody may have had their hands in the till and/or made huge mistakes in overspending etc. Tan can use these apologies as political capital, Mackay can watch his bank balance expand and start earning again.
What do you think?
I think that Mackay has been paid off on the understanding that he keeps a confidentiality clause. That's standard practice.
I don't see though why he would have had to agree to apologise to anyone: I'd have thought it would just be 'no further comment'.
Surely Mackay and his team would have known that with a Mackay apology out there Tan would take that as carte blanche to go libelling Mackay again.
Therefore the only reason for apologising that I can see is that they knew Tan would have to open his big obnoxious gob again and they'll be taking action for libel against him.
But is that too...err...mackayavellian?
(sorry!)
Tan seems happier for the team do badly than to let someone else take the credit for them doing well.
Probably not the best attitude to have as a football chairman
I take it noon hasn't surfaced to congratulate cyrille
poor form
Actually I don't think you've congratulated me yet either.
