noon has come out of it relatively well as he didn't get rooney.
i am officially concerned.
if dzeko chimes in with another couple of goals and rooney doesn't start it could all go tits up for me.
and i can't even think about what tumblin' luis might do to earn penalties.
in hindsight i should have jettisoned azpi, but aint hindsight grand. was banking on two cleanies from him and cahill, including the inevitable stone wall penalty for the visitors turned down because they're just not 'big' enough.
Quite unusual the way Rogers is saying they're basically going to thrash palace and newcastle...
He's risking looking a bit silly...He admits the aim at Selhurst Park is not simply three points. The Liverpool manager, who expects Daniel Sturridge to be available against Tony Pulis's team, said: "If there is any team that can score goals and turn it around it will be us. There is no question. That will be our aim. No question about that. I have seen it before. Chelsea beat Wigan 8-0 in the last game of the season [in 2010, when Chelsea won the title]. I am not paying any disrespect to Newcastle at all but if there is a team that has shown it can score goals, it is us. We are not a 1-0 team. We showed that at the beginning of the season but what we have shown since is we can score goals.
if man city win their last two games, liverpool have to make up a difference of at least 11 goals
they're better off concentrating on winning their last two games and hoping man city slip up
and they're definitely better off only talking publicly about scoring loads of goals after they've scored them.
i suppose rogers doesn't want to concede that it's out of their hands, which basically... it is.
'no disrespect, newcastle, but we're going to beat you 8 nil'.
of course he's been oitshtanding this season, but clearly the guy is still a bit of dick.
Which shows the overall strength of the organisation IMOOriginally Posted by cyrille

I think you've done enough to stay clear ciz. You can just transfer Dzeko in next week to block noon.
Even so, we could both do with a brace from mata tonight.
And now I see he's blaming it all on his players, rather than just keep shtum about it (the best option) or admit that the reason they blew that lead was his ridiculous game plan.Originally Posted by cyrille
Are we supposed to believe that he had no involvement in his player's clear belief that when 3-1 up from being 3-0 up the best approach was not 'what we have we hold' but 'let's go for 8-1'?
When the latter was exactly what he said the game plan would be before the kick off?
He seems to be denying any culpability at all.
Classy.

I'm not sure it's over yet though
It should be, but city will get the jitters at some point

Maybe Mata captain wasn't such a terrible move after all.....
Well indeed.
Suspect the world cup is uppermost in sa's thoughts . On Sunday he was saying he was fine...

What a weirdly flat end to the season this is turning out to be.
I've never been less bothered about albion staying up, and judging on sunday's performance neither have they.
Seems like about 30 years since the great escape season.
0 minutes for Mata...
lol who the fuck is James Wilson?
List of players from my team rested or injured during this GW:
Azpilicueta, Ferdinand, Mata, Ramsey, Rooney x 2, Aguero (c) x 1.75.
It was all looking so promising as i strode (stumbled) into Soi Cowboy early Sunday morning.
They've started on giving the catering staff a game, apparently.Originally Posted by Jimmy McNulty

21 points ciz..
i can see noon captaining Dzeko...should be an interesting finale.
Nasri has delivered very consistently with low ownership.
A goal and three assists in the last five games has been a big help in maintaining an advantage.
I need five or six signings to securely cock block noon, and obviously I can't afford to go for that many.
Tricky.
Does anyone else think the whole aguero situation looks a bit suspect?
I mean one day he's fit to play, the next he's got a groin problem and a hamstring problem, then the day after the game he says he's fine, then finally he's not picked to play or even on the bench?
I can't help thinking maybe pellegrini suspects he's protecting himself for the world cup, and so has fucked him off and decided to go with people who want to play.
I think they'd be better off selling him and Negredo.....get some quality strikers who aren't made of glass.Originally Posted by cyrille
Was going to get him in with Mannone but went for DDG and AJ instead...Originally Posted by cyrille
