Good result for you ciz. Mirallas and Nasri in the last 10 minutes...

Great week for you - right in the mix now.

And yeah, the nasri goal is a biggie for me.

What odds on 3 goals at goodison from palace?

    Football - bloody hell.

    The deflection continues...

BBC Sport - Cardiff City: Crystal Palace result should not stand, say Welsh club

Cardiff's 3-0 defeat by Crystal Palace in early April should not be allowed to stand, the Welsh club have said in a five-page letter seen by the BBC.
The document, sent by club lawyers to the Premier League, alleges Palace boss Tony Pulis knew sporting director Iain Moody was trying to obtain Cardiff's starting line-up before the game.
Cardiff claim they have proof Moody succeeded and say this breaches league rules. Pulis declined to comment when contacted by the BBC, although Palace have previously denied the claims.
Premier League strugglers Cardiff go on to state that clubs should act in good faith to one another and call into serious question the integrity of the match.
They say Crystal Palace cheated and want the Premier League to take serious action.

A well-placed Cardiff City source has now told WalesOnline the club have NOT asked for the result to be thrown out.
"That is not what the club are asking for. That would sound like sour grapes," the source said.
"All that has been asked is that the Premier League, as the watchdogs of our sport, look into the situation.
"They have not been asked for anything else. They have certainly not been asked for the result to be voided.
"The club feels what happened was unfair and that is why a letter was sent to the Premier League. Now it is in their hands."
    http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/f...-asked-7001118

So, apparently we haven't asked for it to be voided, but....what a fucking cartoon.

most people taking one or two hits this week.....gone for the -8....nothing to lose and lots to gain.

Silva might yet still play. will be going back to the glorious 3-5-2 formation.

I see ff scout is still lauding zabaleta for his assist potential.

The last one was on the 14th of December...

upbeat stuff in the guardian, jimmy...

Victory at Southampton last week spawned an unfashionable thought: what if Vincent Tan was right? What if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer really is the man to lead Cardiff to Premier League safety? Suddenly it looks possible: Cardiff are three points behind Norwich, who face a hellish run-in while the Welsh side's next three games are against Stoke, Sunderland and a bunch of crash test dummies in Newcastle jerseys. That's a pretty accessible-looking escape route. What's more, some of Solskjaer's January signings are starting to look shrewd. Wilfried Zaha has thrived in his new role just behind the striker, Cala defended stoutly and scored the shock winning goal at St Mary's last week and, most of all, Mats Moller Daehli has in recent weeks displayed the nimble ingenuity that has led many Norwegians to hail him as the most exciting prospect ever to emerge from their country, including Espen Baardsen. Mark Hughes is in for a tough assignment on his return to Wales.

Upbeat or bought? We're second bottom of the league form table since January with 7 points taken against three teams from the relegation zone and three points against Southampton, pretty much playing for nothing, with the most Mackay style performance since the man himself was sacked, soaking up the pressure and grabbing a winner on the break/from a set piece against the run of play and then holding on through Marshall. Cala looks a decent defender, Zaha has been awful except off the bench (no idea where they're coming from there), and Daehli looks a very good player but is he really anymore effective than Noone and or Bellamy in the 'dogfights'?

There's also the fact that he's bought Eikrem who hasn't had a sniff and looked deeply average, Kenwyne Jones who needs no further comment, and some other Scandi whose name I've actually forgotten.

We took zero points and shipped seven goals at home against the two teams that came up with us. If we manage to get 3 points from Stoke at home today, I'll be willing to partially be open to the thought of survival, otherwise no and the stats still maintain that Mackay would have been nearer to keeping us up.

I don't think Solskjaer is a bad manager. I think he'll become a good, progressive, modern manager that will play good football. But the fact remains that he wouldn't have been at our club if he didn't have that ManYoo shine. Give me Pulis or indeed Mackay for our first season in the Premier League any day.

    Probably.

I took no hits going into the dgw so i reckoned i could treat myself.

It now seems cloyingly self indulgent, like too many slices of cake.

I actually feel a bit ill.

I really do spend too much time on this shit.

It is a bit OTT isn't it. The flowering of Zaha in particular is not a phenomenon I've been privy to.

Beating Stoke is a tough call at the moment, which worries me as they're a bogey team for us and we play our last game of the season against them.

That is a pretty cushy run of games coming up though.

I think either Cardiff or Fulham may well survive at the expense of poor Norwich, who may well crumble today and not for the last time this season.

My money though is on Fulham. I actually wouldn't be surprised to see them take a point or more against Spurs, whose defending last week was as bad as any I've ever seen in the top division.

It's a pretty cushy run for a team that hasn't looked so abject in games against teams that we've been expected to take points from. They all seem to have wanted to win more and set themselves up so much better. Must be the leaks...

But yeah, Zaha? What the fuck is that all about?

looking at the fixture, norwich are almost certain to go down

I think west brom and all the teams above them are just about safe...

so, it's between fulham and cardiff for the final place.....

I'd say fulham have just got the edge at the moment, but depending on how results go before then.... cardiff v chelsea on the last day could be the most important game of the season

bin babies has the captain on Aguero......very tasty......Suarez has a fantastic record v Norwich though. could be painful if he gets another hat-trick.
