i'm not a jack although unlike real cardiff fans i'm hoping that they and we stay up for a very long time

in my opinion a hit is not by definition a bad thing, as you seem to believe.

it's only a bad thing if you don't recoup the points swiftly and go on to make more.

for example earlier in the year i took a hit to get lukaku in and he scored 13 or 14 points the following game.

if adebayor and adam jonson get three goals between them tonight then i'm laughing. especially if 'made of glass' silva, the player going out, does not play.

i must admit though that i took that hit thinking the combined value of johnson and ade would rise by more than the 100k it has.

still, silva vydra out, johnson ade in for a hit is a decent move imo, but of course only time will tell.

i should have taken an aguerro hit last weekend...would have gained some 8 points on the overall score

i just prefer the points on the board route
i play the game very conservatively and it has served me well for the past 3 seasons
