On the upside, I'm pleased that prat jewell has done one.
Chris Baird likely to be in the team a while, Cyrille?
Well I reckon he's the most likely to play at 3.9 million midfield player around. Our midfield is a bit powder puff without him, so I'd say if he doesn't play it'll be because we sign someone - he's a 'Pulis type'.
I'll be getting some Albion in next week too during wildcard fortnight.
GMac will be slapping those headers home. Only 4.8m
GMac?
Hmmm...Gareth McAuley apparently.
I do fancy Trippier again at 4.8m. Shame he plays for Burnley really.
Weighing up a punt on Sterling. There's Chadli alternatively and then I can have a stronger defence or upgrade Boyd but not sure with Kane I want two Spurs attacking players. There's ADM as well but that would mean decimating my defence to fixture plays every week.
ya...not exactly firing in the goals are they?Originally Posted by Jimmy McNulty
hard to look beyond WBA now with Pulis in charge. they could possibly be better value than the Chelsea defenders.
Southampton's injuries giving you cause for concern with your double up in defence Joffer's? You've likely had them both long enough to make getting rid of either of them prohibitive though.
Can I quote you Cy?Originally Posted by cyrille
I see Sunderland have swapped that useless lump Altidore for Jermain Defoe. Seems like a rather good deal.
Wildcard pretty much done. Sterling punt not taken as I just don't trust Liverpool and I want to avoid a gamble on Baird and to be able to have greater flexibility in my formations.
Looking forward to seeing my fantasy icon Joffer's. Would imagine there's a lot of overlap but he's got perhaps 1.5m more to spend than me so likely there'll be greater strength and depth, particularly in defence. Well, a girl can dream.

Get your WC squads out for the lads:
Fosty / Myhy
Terry Berty Camery Van Aanholty Wisdy
Hazzy Sanchy Siggy Chadliy Johnsony
Kany Costy Aggsy
Joffy's:
Fosty Pantsy (can afford to go for that flexibility in goals)
Clyny Berty Terry Van Aanholty Wisdy (hanging into the S'ampters the entire season = 3 strong defenders)
Hazzy Sanchy Siggy Chadliy Johnsony (identical except for the more expensive Downy)
Kane Aggsy Cost (same)
So as I thought isn't it.
I hope people I can actually catch don't follow suit in the other leagues.
Might get a bit of Puncheon love in the team. Palace looking very good..
Siggy for the door finally Jofrey? Playing deep yesterday with Oliveira behind the striker, Bony, gone, and Swansea looking a bit pants.
Puncheon? Yah. How is that Elia classed as a midfielder? Obviously worth looking at.
Glad I managed to offload spud before his price fell. I made him captain last night because I thought there was no way Louis would be daft enough to play him behind di Maria again after the last fiasco.
Wrong again.
I wonder if RvP will ever be priced at a remotely sane number?
And Mata given the hook early on - might be back in La Liga before the month's out.
Got Elia and punch as part of my two week Wild card meanderings. Priced out studger too, but getting him in would mean half my midfield might not get a game.
Ho Hum.
Roll on August.
It's only vodka Martinis on the veranda that are keeping body and soul together.
Btw I've got Kane in too, so expect two points against west brom and then a straight red for nutting mertesacker with a diving header.
very possible....Monk admitted he was playing through a foot injury too. glad i ditched Taylor in the wildcard. got no confidence in them defensively.Originally Posted by Jimmy McNulty
Wonder which Aguero is returning - the sturdy one of the first half of this season, or the 'made of glass' one of the second half of last season?
