That's why these managers earn the big bucks. :)
Do you not have a plan then, Jofrey?
I bet it includes Romelu Lukaku. :)
Indeedy :)
Cream the DGWs.....get the best players in....max the value out.Quote:

As if you wouldn't bring a fit Aguero in for a DGW if you could...
Reflecting on the Cardiff circus:
Mackay's stats - 18 games - 4 wins 9 losses 5 draws = 17 points 24 goals conceded 13 scored
0.94 points per game
1.4 goals conceded per game
0.76 goals scored per game
-0.64 difference
Mackay was sacked before the Sunderland home game as the decision would look better followed by an immediate victory which didn’t happen but watching that match, mostly in the pub as I walked out on 19.27, you could tell they were there for the taking and Mackay would have known how to close it out for the 3 points.
OGS took over for the West Ham at home game
14 games - 10 losses 2 wins 2 draws 8 points 32 goals conceded 14 scored
0.57 points per game
2.28 goals conceded per game
1.00 goals scored per game
-1.28 (twice as bad as Mackay)
Mackay’s stats piss all over OGS’s, even with all that poison flying about off the pitch before he had his right hand man fucked off from under him who subsequently went to, yes, Palace and Pulis. Don’t forget that OGS had supposedly ‘strengthened’ the side in January, but he went out and bought a load of ManYoo shine kids to make us look even more ManYoo lite. Under Mackay we took points from Everton, ManYoo, and Man City and beat the Jacks. Under OGS we’ve been raped at the caravan park and lost 4-0 and 3-0 at home to the teams that came up with us and beaten Fulham and Norwich, the two teams that are arguably as bad as us as well as scraping draws against the Baggies and Villa.
Zaha wouldn’t even do the Ayatollah for us yesterday against his ex-club. Kenwyne Jones? Could a man give less of a fuck and we’ve been lumbered with him because of another quick fix face saving piece of business by Tan to send out Mackay’s striker when, as can be seen at Stoke, a different style would have suited his game, and at least one of the 300 or so styles OGS has tried out might have done the trick. Mackay brought in players in the main that played for him and you could at least depend on commitment, but the circus off the pitch has left us with a bunch of twats that feel disenfranchised through losing the man they wanted to play for and a bunch of toddlers and misfits who couldn’t care less whether we stay up or go down.
You know what, it’s impossible to say whether we would have stayed up under Mackay, though I think that with a chance to reinforce in January, I think we would have had a very good go, but had we failed, at least we would have been relegated with fucking dignity.
many people jumped the gun last time out. costly mistake.Quote:

:sexy:
I got rid of Mata and Gerrard :mid:
nice 1-1 result for the game tonight would go down well.
:)
Of the top thirty 'transfers out' this week, sixteen are either Everton or Man City players.
wtf?
only 50 shy of third place now....the dream is alive ;)
yep, spurs performances have unexpectedly become key in the battle for a champion's league spot.
will ade remain on the right side of timbo or be back training with the hot dog vendors next week?
will tactics tim realise that eriksen will never be able to make the contribution he himself made, ie spend three years fouling people?
will naughton ...err...who is naughton again?
tune in for tonight's nail biting installment.
and in the meantime Liverpool show United how it is done
it will certainly be that for one certain taffy character ;)Quote:

I somehow missed the fact that Everton have a DGW and a DGW with two very nice matches. Lukaku would have been in and Coleman retained. For fuck sake.
I thought you must have done.Quote:

At least you have the 9m in reserve. Only about a -16 point hit needed to get a decent dgw team on ;)
sounds like a job for jamie.
Jamie...only on about 75 transfers...
:)
just had a look at noon's team.
already made his transfer....got 5m in the bank so he's bumped someone down.
could be Hazard? good news for you ciz.
yeah i'm not sure what he's done and i'm certainly not assuming it's good news for me.
i've been delighted to see sissoko and shelvey making appearances though, i must admit.
surely entertainment like that can't last forever? :)
always a delight to see noon gambling on the donkeys ;)Quote:

yeah the mackems were utterly abject last night, and despite spurs best efforts they just didn't quite manage to fuck it up.
so half right for jimmy - but what will an everton team in the same form as last weekend do to sunderland and palace?
could be circa 60 points there.
