I honestly thought Joshua was fucked after the third round...
Good fight. Povetkin had a great start and staggered AJ in the 1st round, looked like he broke his nose also. Povetkin able to land his fast hook-uppercut combinations and winning the early rounds before Joshua started using the jab to keep him off and wear him down, especially effective to the body of Povetkin.
Great finish by Joshua, knockdown and KO in the 7th finishing a dangerous guy that has never been stopped before. Hopefully, Joshua's next fight against the winner of Fury-Wilder this December.
LA
^Looking forward to this. I reckon Fury will be motivated and in great shape for Wilder. Style-wise, could be an intriguing fight..
Plenty of people have been made to regret betting against him.
Regardless of how that poster looks.
There's really no value in the prices on offer.
The bookies think they're both almost as shit as each other.
Callum Smith made Groves look like the Groves of old and knocked him on his arse to win his title and the tournament in Jeddah.
^Good fight while it lasted. Groves was doing pretty good, although has been recovering from recent shoulder and jaw injuries, but Smith was landing the cleaner punches. End of the 7th round Smith caught Groves with a peach of a check left hook, stunned him and finished the fight very efficiently, winning this Super Middle tournament prize and Groves' WBA title.
Shame the final couldn't have happened in the UK though..
Full fight here while it lasts:
Surely going to watch Khabib vs McGregor live online this Saturday. The most anticipated and looked after fight of the year. How many of you going to watch it? What are your predictions. I believe Khabib is going to KO McGregor quite easily this time. McGregor is just a barking dog I believe.
^ exactly my thoughts.
Hardly a bonafide sport. A good start would be to stop all the cowardly elbows and punches while they lie helpless risking becoming a vegetable.
It's sickening to watch and it's neither hard or brave. It's that kind of shite that makes the clueless armchair thugs assume its 'harder' or more skilful than boxing.
The whole McGregor hype that led to his beating by Floyd was born out of that ignorant, childish bullyboy assumption and luckily we all saw how useless and shit at boxing that novice-like twat Conor was.
^Erm, try and be nice to the newbie, fellas.

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, Thailand's flyweight WBC champ is defending his belt at Impact Arena in Bangkok on Saturday against some Mexican.
The undercard is about 14 MMA and Muay Thai fights, if trash talkin Arry fancies taking the noob
^Was supposed to be going to that event with a few friends.
Just a 'stay-busy' fight for Rungvisai, but would be a great night out.
How about me being more direct. You are a fooking coont arry.
Good fight yesterday (Thai time). Terence Crawford defending his WBO Welterweight title against undefeated Jose Benevidez. Was competitive in the first half of the fight, but "Bud" turned up the pressure and workrate after 6 rounds and then produced a great finish a few seconds before the final bell (12th round).
Crawford needs to fight the other 147lb-ers, Errol Spence, Keith Thurman, Shaun Porter to be truly tested at this weight. Absolute perfect performance and finish in front of his hometown crowd in Omaha, Nebraska.
