If the article is correct and one must presume that it is, then The BBBC should stamp down hard on his transgressions , our great sport is far better off without twats like him or his ilk , his behaviour out of the ring previous to this latest bombshell has hardly been exemplary has it ? .

Really disappointed Clit won't get to pulverize the Psychitzo Phrenic cum bubble.. (as is he, I am sure)... no surprise from me - that he was on the devil's dandruff lol..

My boy Parker, was set to fight AJ as the mandatory contender.. I suppose this puts a spanner in the works. Parker is fighting tonight. A much taller Russian guy, interested to see how it goes. I believe Parker's speed/reflexes will be too much for him. (Crossing fingers and toes though) as I know from my Muay Thai fights, that it's usually more difficult fighting a taller man.

Speaking of Psychitzo Phrenic people ... I might hang out with you guys here - I should be safe from my stalker here no?

Told you Joe was no slouch.. he (now don't laugh) reminds me a wee-bit - of Ali..

In a rudimentary way - he has similar speed and combinations but without the charisma and footwork. and.. and.. umm forget I said that..

Woohoo! Meaningful Heavyweight fight on the horizon.

After rumors and speculation, it appears we’ll get the fight, as it’s being reported that Anthony Joshua will face Wladimir Klitschko on December 10, with Matchroom Boxing set to announce the fight “early next week.”
The likely venue will be the Manchester Arena, as the preferred O2 Arena in London has bookings for December 10 and December 17.
Joshua, 27, is 17-0, all wins coming by way of knockout, dominant thus far as a professional after winning the super heavyweight gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
But Klitschko, 40, still represents a drastic step up in class from the likes of Dillian Whyte, Charles Martin, and Dominic Breazeale, Joshua’s last three and thus far most significant opponents as a professional. Klitschko (64-4, 53 KO) is coming off of a decision loss last November to Tyson Fury, and that combined with his age and inactivity could be a formula for the aggressive and powerful Joshua to do something special, but on paper, this is a big challenge for the defending IBF titleholder.
Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko reportedly set for Dec. 10 - Bad Left Hook

After a bit of a lacklustre 2016 boxing-wise, the end of the year looks to close out with a flourish with Ward-Kovalev in November, then hopefully this Heavyweight bill in December. Hope it gets signed..

Yeah I can buy the Ward V Kovalev, the Bull V the Matador , but sorry for me IMHO the Klitschko /Joshua fight is meaningless, Dr Hammerfist last time out looked decidedly gunshy against a non puncher (IMO) According to reports they will be sharing a purse of 30 million, its getting as bad as premier league soccer !!!.

^Agree mostly, but it's still a significant step up for Joshua, who has relied on just pure power to overwhelm all his opponents thus far. He fights in straight lines, and seems a bit over-muscular (a bit like Frank Bruno) for a top Heavyweight.
Dunno how much Klitchko has got left in the tank, but he will have a lot to prove (and a legacy to protect) after the last fight.. Might be a good one.

Yeah "Adonis " Joshua might be found wanting in the later rounds (if it goes that far ) as you rightly say he's used to blowing his opponents away early with his power ,it makes one wonder if he has a "plan B" if things don't go according to plan?

Cheeky!! I can read your mind mate... you think I'm only cheering for my lad, Parker cause he's a fellow Kiwi, don't ya?...

    You are dead right!

Yeah, nah... I'm about as patriotic as a sock..
I always want the all blacks to lose (cause they are so dominant, it's painfully boring seeing them trample every other team)...

Truth is, I backed Parker right from the start of his career (which coincided with my return to NZ) I just honestly think Parker has all the skills and can mix it with the big boys.

I like him because he's a humble lad - doesn't think he's god's gift to mankind (unlike others like Gayweather, etc)..
He knows he's not unbeatable (no one is) and has a very good coach/mentor in Kevin Barry.

Oh, and to be even more honest, he's come onto the world stage at just the right time i.e. heavyweight division is relatively weak - compared to the monster heavyweights of yesteryear...

Last thing... contentious issue I know: Mike Tyson (in his short prime/pre-prison Mike) IMHO would destroy any other boxer (of any era) don't care if he's taller, with a crisp jab yada yada... Mike loved fighting taller men ***in his prime***
all day, any day, Mike Tyson my brothers..

^Nah. Mike didn't "love fighting taller men", he just had no choice, because he was a short-arse compared to the other Heavys. His prime coincided with a dearth of talent in the top division. The dangerous guys (Witherspoon e.g. didn't get to fight him).
The big men who weren't scared of him beat him. Foreman (for one) would have hammered him, imo.

Anyways, hoping yer man Parker gets a meaningful fight soon. Would be nice to see some interesting matchups at Heavyweight.

Meanwhile, next month we have Ward-Kovalev, Pacquiao-Vargas, and (this one might be a belter) Lomachenko-Walters, so plenty to go at.

He has practically confirmed a Dec fight against Andy Ruiz for the WBO title.

    Agree to disagree bro..

He came underneath the taller boxer, bobbing and weaving for the uppercut or left-hook. Mate, I wouldn't be my (or your) balls on it... Mike vs Ali would be close.. Ali could take a punch..

Foreman would be far too slow mate.. not a chance against iron Mike.
Damn! I love boxing! us lads debating over Mike vs ...... or Ali vs ......

I was going to say, if you took Mike, just after he annihilated Trevor Berbick in 1986, he would beat any heavyweight (past or present)..

But I guess that's not fair, cause Ali at his absolute peak, was an untouchable fighter too.

When we all kick the bucket - and meet up in hell 55... let's all gamble our souls on these types of dream fights, shall we?

^All a bit subjective, Dick this cross-era debating. Tyson had great speed and head movement early on, but the big guys could smother him pretty easily, imo. -Bonecrusher Smith and Tony Tucker spring to mind. Foreman also had (maybe behind Ernie Shavers) the heaviest hands in boxing, period. Anyway, makes for interesting banter, likesay.

Yeah, cheers Ant. Just confirmed by boxing sites:
WBO sanctions Joseph Parker vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. - Bad Left Hook

Ruiz a bit flaky mentally, but talented and potentially dangerous for Parker.

^Not the biggest boxing fan, just happened to see a headline on it right before I saw your post.

Still pretty big news for NZ. First time a Kiwi heavyweight has fought for a title since way back when Tua got smashed by Lennox Lewis.

For the OZ boxing fans mainly,Mundine vs Green is on in Adelaide feb 3 at the oval.
    expecting sellout crowd of 37000.
weight is at 83kg limit,no multi mill payout but a good earner for both, seeing them both on tv,Green looks a lot better than Mundine, who has a head like a dropped pie and still trying to trash talk, came across as a dick on the way to a flogging.

From what I read from all you Aussie's , Mundine is hardly flavour of the Month , his record is quite good ,but as far as I can ascertain he suffers from an acute attitude problem which cuts no ice with you boxing fans down under , Ozz has had some great fighters in the past ,If I was to plumb for the best of them I would have to pick Jeff Fenech as being right up there with the best of em .
