^A lot of people did/do, their reasoning being Kostya had some ridiculous amount of amateur fights in Russia (like 250 or more) that set the platform for the absolute beast he became as a pro. Fair enough to say that too, can you even imagine what he'd have had to face in that many fights on the amateur circuit in Russia! He was up there with the best finishers I've ever seen, nothing worse than seeing a fighter hurt his opponent then stand there looking at him while he regains his composure. When Kostya sensed blood in the water he did not fuck around and always went in for the immediate kill.
