    Hey, Cyrille, coming from you...

Snubby, calm down, Ruiz is two bob and got lucky; won't happen again for the fat little Mexican.

I love that sky took down the head to head interview of Ruiz and AJ. AJ was clearly scared.

I don't think any of the top heavyweights are scared, or very rarely - they train and spar and fight, they all know they can be knocked out (it's happened to all of them in sparring with bigger padded gloves on...). The prepare the best they can then wanna get in there and rip it up.
    Cycling should be banned!!!

Nah. They're bricking it. Anyone saying any different is lying. Even Tyson, when he was the most feared HW on the planet, admitted to serious nerves before his fights.
I remember back in the amateurs, the dressing rooms and toilets stank of vomit from boxers puking up before their bouts.

This looks more like the verdict of someone with some understanding of human nature to me.

Nerves is different to being afraid.

People get nervous or stage fright before their opening nights on Shaftsbury Avenue, worried about the critical response and how the play will be delivered/received - I doubt the actors are scared of the audience, critics or each other.

The similarities between that and facing up to someone whose job is to knock you unconscious are almost...oh no, actually there are absolutely none whatsoever.

Anyone without fear is either a complete psychotic or dead. Fear helps produce adrenaline in fighters or other athletes which is pretty much a necessity in competing.

^ yes, you're right, there's fear (but they are not afraid). They all say how they channel their nerves/fear, and it helps them.

I'm a bit disappointed that this fight is in the middle of the night and not during my usual breakfast coffee.

Poor fucking planning if you ask me.

Ruiz Jr has weighed in 3 stone heavier than AJ.

The important thing is that Joshua learns how to hit and run because he's got Frank Bruno's chin....

Fights as good as over now. Just really unbelievable that they let him put on so much weight right before the fight. A shame really as I was looking forward to a battle now I see this ending quickly.

Bruno had a great chin. But, his defence was poor and once he got hit once he'd drop his arms to the side, stand still and let the onslaught begin... No survival instinct.
