In fact there is a conspiracy theory, which i don't subscribe to but can't rule out, that Ferguson is enjoying how much he's missed.

What, do you think they'll maybe rename the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand if things don't get better under Moyes?

The only possible way to slightly dent the reputation of a predecessor is to be better than him, as Martinez at Everton may prove to be.

Ferguson comes out of this looking better according to you? He comes out of it looking a better manager than Moyes, but has egg on his face for pushing the appointment of Moyes as his replacement.

He has players throwing medicine balls at each other!

I think the day is long gone when anyone from the continent was automatically considered 'trendy', whatever their cv.

I was still collecting football stickers when that was last true.
