What do you mean "if"?

United reported to have had a 60 million bid for Bale turned down. I think they'll go in with a bigger bid before the window closes. They'll have Rooney money to spend soon as well.
I thought he was destined for Madrid ?
I should imagine Spurs will be wanting the same dough Man U got for Ronaldo 4 years ago when he was sold age 24.
He's worth it, I think
^ I've already told princess Violet that I don't read newspapers and never have.
What part of 'transfer rumours' do you not comprehend?
And if they include the money they may get for Shrek then I don't think they'll have a problem paying it. I think they wanted Ronaldo back but when they knew that wasn't going to happen they set their sites on Bale. I think they'll persue him aggressively but I'm not convinced Spurs will sell at any price
No doubt that Bale is potentially going to be a great, however he's only had one season (the last) where he's really come on.
Ronaldo had several years of demonstrating his skills with United, with 3 Premier Leagues, 1 FA Cup, 2 League Cups, 1 Champions League, and a World Club Championship to show for it.
I think 60 million would be very generous, and I'd personally have thought 40 to 50 million.
^ I agree with that but these days true value seems to count for squat. It all comes down to very rich people getting what they want at any price.
United are not known for bad business like that but if they want to keep up they will have to pay the silly prices that are demanded these days.
^ I'm talking about the thread in general. It's pre season so there's little else to talk about than transfer rumours. That failed bid is being widely reported in the media making it more than worthy of being thrown out there to be discussed.
Can you not see the difference in the way you responded to it and the way Dill & PAG did? You and Princess Violet need to start a thread about newspapers, you both seem obsessed by them.
2 people replied to the post in a manner that was expected, only one didn't. You do the math who should be posting or not.
Are you really that demented that you think TD is above discussing transfer rumours?? Where the fuck does this forum find these people?
But I told you I never read newspapers so I obviously didn't quote one. Hence your weird obsession with them. :rolleyes:Quote:

That way this thread can be kept for actual news.
Holloway taking a bit of a gamble on a crock....
Love the way they're described as an 'outlet'!Quote:
Sevilla midfielder Jose Campana has today signed a four-year deal with Premier League outlet Crystal Palace, following the two clubs agreeing an undisclosed fee according to the club’s official website.
And Maicon has joined Roma.
Seeing as I started this thread, how about I don't. :rolleyes:Quote:

So many people think that TD is about them and they have to enjoy every post. Fucking weirdos.

Hmmm. A very liberal minded post, why not say what you really think?
Seriously though, the thread subject is perhaps a little too large and ultimately could be difficult to keep track of once the season starts for real.
What sites? I don't get my information from web sites either so you're 2 for 0. :no:Quote:

Not really mate. How can you have too many posts on a thread? We'll all be watching the games, some of us in the UK will be at the games. We can discuss what anybody wants to. How your team got on, what teams are playing well, what players are playing well, contentious ref decisions, managerial decisions we thought were strange or genius etc etc.
The topic is limitless but I don't see why it can't be contained in the one thread.
I dare say it will be over run by fucking morons as most threads on this forum are and I won't even bother with it, but you can always live in hope.
Aberlour
Go on then I'll bite .
Where do you get your info , which is eerily similar to the newspaper websites I peruse.
A wild guess

when i see someone reading the daily mail, i stealthily move away before they can banboozle me with their new right trash/ukip wank.these people are a walking advertisement for a return to eugenics, that or smashing into their head to see what minerals can be extracted
i read the times. not my politics but a very well set-out paper nonetheless
Jesus Christ. The one-upmanship on TD has now reached what newspapers people read. You couldn't make this place up if you tried.
