All is well in the world tonight.
Congratulations Melbourne, the best team on the day
NRL & AFL over and done with.
Next up: Bathurst!!

Well done Melbourne.
Yes, Billy Slater, a great Aussie just like me rules...............
A quote from the Sydney Daily Telegraph.
" Chambers (Storm centre) showed the constitution of
a North Korean border patrol officer "
That just about sums it up.
Too strong on the day particularly in defense.
Chalk another title up for Slater with I believe many more to come.
Just too slick a unit with the setup they have. 6 , 7 finals appearances in 12 years? Even with the cap issues which on a yearly basis were pretty minor.
Billy is done, he has his legitimate final, off to the wallabies for him.
Is this a fact or just hearsay?Originally Posted by Necron99

Just my fondest dream unfortunately.
Can you image the guys with him at 15? Devastating counterattacks, no more lost highball, the list goes on....wonder how Cronk would do..maybe not so well, but billy would be a shoe in.
His chase and try saving aerial effort to knock that ball out of reach of whoever that bloodnut was was outstanding. And he does it all the time. Very AAC like.
Slater certainly is brilliant athlete and I am also sure he could play both codes as a champion.
AFL flag to Sydney NRL flag to Melbourne How good is that
You certainly do need a 15 in the Wallabies now that Cooper has dissed the yellow shirt and Beale is earmarked for 10......
Cooper for the Rabbitohs sooner rather than later

Or is it the Queensland Rabbitohs now?
^ yes but he needs to also sign his ARU contract. No ARU, no Reds.
His latest issue seems to be headed for the ARU contract being rescinded unfortunately.
It's at an impasse that will probably end up as a lose lose for all. (NRL included as he would suck at it.)
LT, that contract goes hand in hand with his ARU contract. He cannot work on one without the other.
It will be null and void if he does not sign his ARU deal.
And where would an NRL team hide the turnstile???

Looks like it is Redfern he is going then or possibly joining Sonny Bill in Japan.
His current ARU contact runs until January. This coincidentally is when Sonny finishes up in Japan, just in time for NRL preseason. Word on the street is that the odorous Khoder is now shopping the pair as a double bill package due to their apparent mutual man crush.
Anybody ever see SBW with a girlfriend?
Sonny Bill is going to Easts.
Sorry yes, I should have said Cooper to the Roosters, it's too late for Cooper to get to Tokyo to lovingly field MBW's balls.....
