I,m a big fan of Graham, (Pommy and all ) he's a real workhorse.

We had 2 great Welshmen ( not Poms ) that played for Canterbury Bankstown
Merv Hicks played with them in the late 60's, his nickname was the pale whale,
he had the biggest, whitest legs you will ever see, a very clever ball player, and
Jonathan Davies in the early 90's , both great players.

Yep I remember the pale whale and from memory he played in the same pack as Kevin Ryan, Colin Brown, George Taylforth and Ron Raper.

Jonathon Davies was a brilliant player but seemed to disappear back to blighty all of a sudden.

There are two players in the 1967 Canterbury side that were fantastic who went on to play for Australia and they were Les Johns and Johnny Greaves who was my next door neighbour................ almost.............lived down the road.

The Sydney Swans win the AFL Grand final beating favourites Hawthorn 91-81 in front of 100,000 fans.

Bellyache and the boys can all deny any feelings of redemption and retribution all they like,but for those that had to walk out onto the ground and face the media and public for the first time after being punished so heavily,a win today will mean everything.It will be a huge kick in the nuts to that prick Gallop to see a team that he and most of Sydney wanted to see destroyed, get up and win.
